Ranboo walked along the white halls, hearing their shoes click against the quartz as their skirt quietly dragged along behind them.

They sighed softly and looked upon the statues along the hall. It contained the main gods like "the god of war" and "the god of animals + all things alike" and even "the god of love". They weren't a main god - a minor god at most.

They sighed and stopped before the bust of the god of love. They traced their finger over the God's cheek, cupping it gently. They missed him. Even if they weren't going to admit it.

He had left the god realm to walk along the humans. He'd been gone for a while and they haven't heard word from him. He promised he would send them a message as soon as he got down. Maybe he'd forgotten them. They wouldn't be surprised. It wouldn't have been the first time.

They sighed softly and shook their head, letting go of the statue and turning away. They continued down the hall and walked into the empty meeting room, seeing a lonely god of animals and all things alike sitting upon the god of love's chair.

"Tommy..?" The star god had spoken, walking over. They saw Tommy look up and quickly wipe away golden tears away. They sighed softly and sat on their knees before the god "Oh Tommy..."

Tommy quickly pulled them into a tight hug and Ranboo rubbed shapes on his back "Shh.. let it out.. I miss him too. He'll be back soon..!" Tommy hiccuped "How do you know? Maybe he found a life happier amongst the mortals"

Ranboo hummed "Because I know him. He's more than willing to return back to us.." Tommy looked up at them in their eyes "You said you haven't even heard word from him.. It's been an entire mortal week..."

Ranboo sighed softly, wiping his tears with their thumb "You're right. I haven't. But it's hard being a god of love amongst mortals who crave love.. I'm sure he's busy and caught up with his duties. His message will be here any day.." Tommy whispered "What if he doesn't..? What if he doesn't write us..?"

Ranboo only whispered back "It's best to assume he will than lose hope... We can stay in his room if you'd like. To feel as if he's here with us..?" Tommy nodded small "Yes.." Ranboo nodded and stood, taking Tommy's hand "Let us go.."

The pair began walking to Tubbo's room when Ranboo was stopped by the god of messages "Hey Ranboo..." Ranboo looked down at the god and nodded "Yes?" The god smiled "A message for you. It's from Tubbo" Ranboo gasped happily "Really?! Yes!"

They quickly took the letter from the God's hands and quickly took Tommy into Tubbo's room. Tommy shut the door and the two sat on the ground. Ranboo stared down at the letter in hand let out a shaky breath, causing Tommy to glare at them "Open it already! I can't wait any longer!" Ranboo slightly shouted "I am! I am!"

They inhaled softly and opened the letter, reading the letter aloud "Dear, Boo. If you are reading this letter, good news. I remembered to write you! Bad news. I am to stay here for another while. They haven't explained how much longer. I've heard an estimate being from an entire mortal month to a mortal year. I am hoping it'll be a mortal month. I know Tom gets clingy and he misses me. You're probably reading it with him beside you. Hi Tom. You better not be crying over me. Anyways. I'm sure you're curious as to how it's been so far. I've been overworked with a bunch of duties of there being mortals who are crying for love and mortals who do not have enough to love themselves without my help. They're all so sad... Other than that, not much has happened. I miss you a ton and I miss Tom a ton. I miss both of your guys' hugs and I miss waking up to see you both sitting outside my door since I always awake rather late. I even miss your annoying scolds for me to sleep since i spend nights up tending to duties. I am hoping i can send more letters and I am hoping to see you guys' letters back. I need at least something. Well I should finish writing now. See you all when I get back. Your Love, Tubbo."

Ranboo flipped over the letter and slightly laughed when they saw he put "p.s. I would never dare leave you both to live among the mortals. They're annoying and smelly."

Tommy laughed as well "Tubso better keep that." Ranboo hummed and nodded "Yeah. Well... Let's go and write him back." Tommy blinked puppy dog eyes "Can you write it for me, Ranboob?"

Ranboo looked away "No. I will not fall for your eyes" Tommy kept on using puppy dog eyes "Pleaseeeeeeee" Ranboo took one look at him before sighing "Fine. Only for this time." Tommy grinned widely "Fuck yeah!" Ranboo shook their head and began writing.
