Your mom was always there for you no matter what. She would drop everything the moment you said that you needed her. She would always be smothering you with kisses and cuddles. She would help you with everything. She loved you with every fibre of her being.
That all changed as you started to get older.

You were now 16, you hardly ever saw your mother anymore. You would maybe see her for like an hour if that a day.
She would go off on missions during the day and not return till late at night when you were asleep or she would go off when you were at school and not even bother to tell you.
All she left was a short note telling you that she will be back later and not to wait up.

You were missing her. There were moments in your life when you needed her. During your first heartbreak, all the times that you had a big test coming up and you were struggling to study, all the times that rumours got spread around the school about you. But she wasn't there she never is.
It got to the point where you were craving even the slightest bit of attention for her that you started acting up. Causing trouble in school, getting into fights or refusing to do any work, not turning up for your training sessions with Steve.
Every time the school principal called home it was always either Steve or Tony that went and dealt with the problems because Natasha was too busy.
You eventually gave up. You stopped going to school completely, you were staying out all night and not answering your phone when they called to find out where you were.
You left all of your old friends and started hanging about with a group of people who were all slightly older than you but they didn't care that you were only 16.
Every night you would go down to Central Park to meet up with them. They encouraged you to drink and to start smoking. It didn't take you long before the taste of the alcohol didn't bother you and instead of cigarettes, they introduced you to a vape. You much preferred the vape. It was a fruity type liquid that was in it so it was much better to smoke.
