I knew I was doomed
the second our eyes met.
You were like a wonder
and, to love you, was to fly.
The first week went by
getting to know each other.
as the next day met another
making us think
we had an eternity.
I knew I was in trouble
the minute our hands touched.
You were like lighting
and, to know you, was to run.
The first month went by
being drunk on each other.
as the next week met another
making us believe
we were invisible.
I knew I was lost
the hour our lips met.
You were like magic
and, to feel you, was to dance.
The first year went by
growing up with each other.
as the next month met another
making us think
we were endgame.
I knew I was in misery
the day our dreams collaged.
You were like a tornado
and, to hold you, was to sing.
. . .

A/N: Hi, lovelies! I know my last poem was published in December but these past few months were really quick for me as I felt like I blinked and suddenly it's March. This poem is from a story I have yet to put up, but since I have too many stories to finish here, it won't get its spotlight in the going months. Or at least for a year, I think. I hope you liked it and if you have any thoughts, hit me up. & have a great month, too!
With love,
M.
