I didn't ask for this life
Nor did I want it
For the rest of it
Yet it seems like I have
To tolerate it.
Heavy is the Crown
I'm supposed to wear
Heavy is the pressure
That is crushing me
At just 16.
I couldn't dream of quitting
Of leaving this behind
For my own sake
Yet all I did was
Wishing I could.
Heavy is the anxiety
I can't control at times
Heavy is the pain
That is tearing me apart
Tonight.

A/N: About half a year ago I came upon this show on Netflix called Young Royals and let's jut say that my life hasn't been the same since then. I'm always looking for queer love stories that could crush my soul by the end of it and this one did. The second season was much better than I hoped for and so here we are, waiting for the final season and writing poems about the main character - Wilhelm, The Crown Prince of Sweden. If you have time and desire, then go give it a proper watch and thank me later. ;)
Have a good weekend, my loves!
Wth love,
M.
