When Blair and Jennivine made it home, Jennivine couldn't help but ask a question that had been on her mind.
"Blair, what were you and Rosalie talking about? You seem more close than ever."
"And that bothers you?"
Blair snapped as she slipped her feet out of her shoes and kicked them away.
"Well. Yeah. It's obvious that you've got a thing for her."
Blair rolled her eyes. She'd gotten tired of being accused of something that Jennivine was guilty of, as well.
"And it's obvious that you've got a thing for her too."
Jennivine rubbed her forehead with her index and middle fingers, and inhaled a deep breath.
"We've both got a thing for her. Happy? It's not like it's a secret."
"What's not a secret? That we built a relationship around our mutual fascination for one woman?"
Blair scoffed and pulled her jeans down. She needed air to breathe. Slipping her feet out of her jeans, she headed over to the window and opened it.
"Scream it on the rooftops, but you knew what you were getting yourself into."
"Yeah. I did."
Jennivine shook her head as she looked at Blair sticking her head out of the window.
"Is that you trying to tell me that I need an air conditioner?"
Blair sighed and moved her head back inside of the apartment.
"No. This is me feeling stressed out. Can we just drop the topic for now, please?"
"Fine. I'm gonna cook. Make yourself at home as usual." Jennivine chuckled as she looked at Blair bottomless. "I do enjoy your comfort, though."
Blair smiled and walked over to Jennivine. She wrapped her arms around the blonde's neck, resulting in their foreheads being pressed together.
"I do love spending time with you, Jenny. I'm not just in this for kicks. I do have feelings for you."
Jennivine studied the redhead's eyes. Her words seemed sincere, yet she couldn't put her trust completely in them. Mostly because she knew that there was no other reason why she started the relationship other than her attempt to get over Rosalie.
"Blair, don't tell me that you're catching feelings now. It'll be a mistake."
"Some mistakes are worth making, Jenny."
Jennivine smiled as her heart fluttered inside of her chest. She'd felt things for Rosalie, but also for Blair.
"I started this for all the wrong..."
"I did too, Jenny. But that doesn't mean that our intentions haven't changed, right?"
Jennivine nodded and sighed. She could see a life with Blair-a future.
"I love spending time with you too, Blair."
Blair smiled and placed a kiss upon Jennivine's lips. Maybe, their mutual fascination for Rosalie was the spark that they needed to pursue their relationship.
"Let me help you cook."
Blair stepped backward and searched for a pair of Jennivine's pajama shorts to borrow.
"I don't know why you insist on staying over here. Does your luxurious penthouse have bed bugs?"
Jennivine tied her hair up into a messy ponytail as Blair stuffed her legs through a pair of her favorite pajama shorts.
"I'm not as uptight as you might believe."
Blair unhooked her bra from under her shirt, and took it off.
"You certainly are not, my humble girlfriend."
Jennivine gave Blair a wink and headed toward the kitchen. Blair followed behind her.
"You should say that more often."
Blair said as she grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
"Say what more often?"
"That you're my girlfriend. I'll say it more often too." They both smiled. "Jenny, not to be a buzzkill, but I think she might actually be leaving Lee."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Blair took a sip of her water and leaned against the kitchen island.
"How do you know?"
Jennivine quirked a brow. She knew that they seemed too close.
"Well, she didn't say a word about her, and avoided doing so."
Jennivine rolled her eyes.
"That means nothing."
"She seemed hesitant about discussing it."
Blair offered.
"Probably because she knows that you're into her. I'd think everyone knows, by now."
"That's not true. Maybe for you, since you work there."
"We can be pretty obvious at times."
"Jenny, we're just fascinated. It'll wear off." Hopefully.
"It's been what? Five months already?"
"Some things take time."
"Ha. I don't think you snooping on her personal life is gonna lessen that time."
"Whatever."
"What else were you two talking about?" Blair pressed her lips together and shrugged. "Seriously? You're, seriously, not going to tell me?"
Jennivine pursed her lips and looked at Blair. She was definitely hiding something.
"You're so nosy sometimes."
"What? Blair, as much as I hate to break it to you, she's my business too."
"Actually she's none of our business. We shouldn't even be talking about her."
"You brought it up."
"I did." Blair tapped the tips of her nails against the surface of the countertop and sighed. "We mostly talked about kids. She seems open for adoption."
"She's thinking about adoption whilst having a falling out with her fiancée?"
Blair shrugged. There was never a right time to think about adopting kids to her. If one found the need, then they should have gone for it. The less time a child had to be without parents, the better.
"So, were you thinking about what she looks like naked?"
"Jenny! Of course not."
"I don't believe you." Jennivine walked over to Blair and got on her knees. "I need proof."
The blonde grinned as she tugged the pajama pants down Blair's legs.
"Jenny, what are you doing?"
She slipped her fingers under the waistband of Blair's panties and pulled them down to her knees.
"What does it look like I'm doing?"
Jennivine ran the tips of her fingers over the little, red fuzz that adorned Blair's mound. She loved that Blair was a natural redhead.
"Fuck."
Blair muttered as Jennivine spread her lips with her index and middle fingers.
"You are wet. Slippery wet."
Jennivine ran her fingers down Blair's slit. She placed her other hand on Blair's thigh and spread the redhead's legs further apart.
"That's because of you."
Jennivine traced the tip of her tongue up Blair's thigh and over her mound, before breathing in her scent.
"You sure? It might be because of her."
"Jenny..."
"Shh. Let me take care of you."
Jennivine slipped her tongue in between Blair's lips in search of her bundle. She knew that the redhead was more of a pleaser, but there were rare moments when she needed to come undone-when she really needed the release.
"Oh fuck."
Blair gripped onto the edge of the island top and sank her teeth into her bottom lip.
She closed her eyes tightly as her tension rose and fell with every lick of Jennivine's tongue. Her pulse, then, increased with each rock of her hips against the blonde's face.
She's going to kill me.
"You taste so good."
Jennivine whispered against Blair's core, the rushing heat, of her breath, intensifying the adrenaline rushing through the redhead's veins.
"Oh, Jenny." The blonde knew that Blair was already close, and she also knew how to get her to the finish line. Jennivine began to lick Blair, from her bundle, down to her opening, while she ran the tips of her fingers solely over the redhead's bundle. "Fuck.... Oh. My..."
Blair looked down at Jennivine as she reciprocated the same intense stare-their eyes locked, and their hearts melted into a pool of lust.
"Rosalie!"
She screamed as her tension rushed through with needed release. Her walls tightened and her hips jerked against Jennivine's face.
"You're fucking unbelievable."
Jennivine muttered as she wiped her lips with the back of her palm and stood.
"W... what?"
Blair was still in a daze as she panted for breath. She looked as Jennivine headed over to the sink to wash her hands and face.
"I think you should leave."
The blonde said as she grabbed a paper towel. She couldn't believe it. They might have used Rosalie as part of their foreplay, but she definitely didn't expect Blair to call out her name.
"Why?"
Blair asked as she pulled up her panties.
"You screamed her name." The redhead pressed her lips together and hesitantly nodded. "You orgasmed because of her. You should leave, Blair."
Blair frowned. She stepped out of the pajama pants that was wrapped around her ankles, and walked over to Jennivine.
"Jenny, please... I..."
"What? What's your excuse?"
The redhead inhaled a breath. She didn't know what to say to resolve the conflict, because she knew that she was guilty as charged.
"I..."
"Please leave, Blair."
Jennivine's eyes were beginning to water. She felt inadequate. Was she foolish to think that they'd be able to succeed at a meaningful relationship?
"Jenny, you, of all people, should understand."
"Really? How so, Blair?"
"You... uh... you..."
"I have the same feelings for her as you do, right? We're in this together, right? We have a mutual attraction to her, right? Maybe, this relationship is a mistake. I, seriously, can't pretend that this is not a problem. We're sick. We are fucked up in the head. We fuck around while pining over the same woman, who does that? Oh, right. Us!"
Blair swallowed and grabbed her jeans from the floor. She got dressed and took one last glance at Jennivine before making her way to the door. She didn't know what to say, but she knew that she should give Jennivine some space. There was no denying that their relationship was eccentric, and that made Blair's doubts increase. Because, she knew that they'd probably never be able to have a decent relationship. Not with their obsession for Rosalie. If Blair wanted to let go of Rosalie, she knew that she'd probably have to let go of Jennivine too.
