Elizabeth hadn't felt so contented in a while, having both of her kids under the same roof, including her beautiful wife, was a dream come true. She'd been observing Yasmin for the past few days, and as Christmas Day came closer, she could see the love in their eyes. Henry seemed to have found someone to fill the void in his heart, and she was more than happy to accept Yasmin into the family, when the time came.
Sipping on a cup of coffee and looking at Rosalie braid Abbi's hair was a good start to her morning. Rosalie was learning how to do the infinity braid and had been watching a video on Youtube whilst practicing on Abbi. As much as Rosalie thought that Abbi loved Elizabeth more than her, Elizabeth could see that it was quite the opposite. The connection that Rosalie shared with her daughter was unfathomed and irreplaceable. A bond like that was the sign of unconditional love. Elizabeth loved Abbi to the moon and back, but there was something a bit different about what Abbi shared with Rosalie.
"Beth, I'll braid yours next. I'm almost done with Abbi's. Isn't she looking as cute as a button?"
Elizabeth placed her cup down and walked over to her daughter. Taking Abbi's little hands in her own, she observed the carefully constructed hairstyle.
"I'm a little too old for an infinity braid. Maybe something more simple for me? A french braid?"
Rosalie nodded and finalized the hairstyle with some hairspray. Abbi looked at herself in the mirror and squealed.
"Mommy, I love it. Thank you."
She hugged Rosalie, before running off to find Yasmin. She'd grown fond of Henry's girlfriend quickly, everyone had.
Elizabeth sat down in front of Rosalie and pulled her hair out of its ponytail. They'd been at the cabin for a few days already, but hadn't been out much. They were planning to head through town later that day to grab some supplies and get something to eat.
"Babe, did you take a look at the pictures I sent to your email? It's a house in a suburban area. Lots of diversity. There's a few parks, a beach nearby and there's also-"
"It costs too much."
Rosalie frowned. Why was Elizabeth worrying about the price?
"You have to pay for safety and comfort. It's a great neighbourhood to live in."
"It's selling for what I make in five years. We're not buying a house where I can't pay for half."
Rosalie disliked her wife's stubbornness sometimes. She made so much money on her paintings, why couldn't she spoil her family?
"You know you don't have to-"
"Of course I do. We hold equal responsibility, and just because you're some millionaire doesn't mean you can spoil us."
"But I want to."
Rosalie whined, as she brushed Elizabeth's hair. They'd fought over the same thing countless times, but Elizabeth never gave in. She was even more stubborn than Rosalie when she wanted to be.
"I already allowed you to hand the deed to the house in California to Henry. I'm not allowing you to buy a luxurious house just because you can."
Rosalie huffed out a breath in defeat. She'd given the house to Henry as a college graduation present. He had more use for it than her. And when she'd purchased it to begin with, she'd always planned to give it to him.
"You know that I don't spend money recklessly, but if we are going to buy a house for us; a permanent home, I want it to be someplace special."
"Bunny, what's the point of buying such an expensive place when you know that I'm going to redesign it anyway?"
"Because it has a huge backyard? An outdoor pool? Lesbian couples as neighbours?"
"You're making sure to buy a house next to a lesbian couple?"
Rosalie shrugged, as she began to braid Elizabeth's hair. She wanted Abbi's life to be as normal as possible. And having families just like hers around was a great idea.
"It's a good environment for her to grow up in. And," Rosalie bit down on her bottom lip, knowing that her wife might disapprove, "there's this apartment building for sale a few blocks away, and I've been thinking of ways to make an investment-"
"You want to buy an apartment building? Are you out of your mind?"
Rosalie puffed out her cheeks. Elizabeth was so opinionated.
"I'm in my right state of mind, thank you very much," Rosalie snickered and sighed, "I've been thinking about the future. And I'm not going to live forever and neither are you. Our little girl needs a good foundation to start off her life."
"So you're thinking of handing her the deed to an apartment building when she's not even six yet?"
"You're misunderstanding me, babe. I just want to develop something for her to have when she gets old enough."
Rosalie sprayed the finished braid with hairspray and stepped back. Rubbing her hands against her jeans, she grabbed Elizabeth's cup of coffee and took a sip.
"An apartment building is your best choice? Managing those are hectic, Rosalie. Dealing with tenants are a pain in the ass, and when it comes to-"
"Fine. It's a dumb idea. I'm sorry I ever brought it up."
Rosalie chugged the rest of the coffee and placed the empty cup into the sink. Looking at the time on her watch, she gritted her teeth and slid onto a stool at the kitchen island.
"Bunny, please don't be upset."
Elizabeth walked over to her wife, and wrapped her arms around her. Placing a kiss on the side of her neck, Elizabeth entwined their fingers, comforting them both.
"I'm just worried. Soon she'll be a teenager, and won't need me anymore. She'll start having sex," they both sighed and felt uneasy, "if she's anything like me, she'll probably get pregnant at fourteen."
Rosalie covered her face with her hands with a deep breath. Elizabeth was concerned as well, but Rosalie was stressing too much.
"Unless she really likes girls."
Elizabeth soothed, as she rubbed Rosalie's back. It was scary to think of the future, especially knowing the things that they'd done as teenagers.
"What about the drugs and drinking? I fucking flashed my tits to a crowd in high school. If Abbi ever does that I would kill her."
Elizabeth chuckled and guided her wife's head against her chest.
"No, you wouldn't. You'd ground her for life, but you love her too much to kill her."
Rosalie looked up at Elizabeth with the most unamused facial expression.
"It's not funny, Beth. I'd homeschool her till she graduates college," Elizabeth shook her head with a smile, "with her PHD."
"You're being too drastic, bunny," Elizabeth placed her hand on Rosalie's thigh and drew her in for a kiss, "wanna do something to stop stressing?"
She whispered against Rosalie's ear, as her hand inched up her thigh.
"I'm too stressed to have a quickie right now."
Rosalie rubbed her temple and closed her eyes. Her mind was racing a million thoughts at once.
"Who said it has to be a quickie?"
Elizabeth kissed Rosalie again, but it was unreciprocated. She knew that she couldn't let Rosalie dwell on her thoughts. Taking Rosalie's hand, she slid it beneath the hem of her trousers.
"Baby-"
"Wet already?" Rosalie swallowed, as she allowed Elizabeth to move her hand beneath her panties, "am I wet?"
Rosalie's eyes flickered between her wife's face and where her hand was. Seemingly, it was the perfect distraction to get her mind empty of all thoughts.
"Anyone could walk in."
Elizabeth moaned, as Rosalie began to massage her clit. Her breathing became heavy and chest reddened.
"I don't care. I want your fingers inside of me," Rosalie placed her other hand on Elizabeth's waist and looked around the kitchen. Everyone else was probably outside playing in the snow, "baby, don't stop."
Rosalie curved her fingers and worked her thumb effortlessly. Her other hand snaked around her wife's waist and pulled her closer.
"You're so sexy."
Elizabeth cupped Rosalie cheeks and pulled her in for a passionate kiss. Rosalie could feel her own thighs throbbing, as her pace quickened. Elizabeth quietly moaned, her lips quivering with each inhale and exhale of breath.
"Mhmm, I need you to taste me."
Rosalie looked into her wife's eyes with no hesitance. Standing with her fingers still hitting every nerve in Elizabeth's body, she pushed Elizabeth against the kitchen island.
Elizabeth gripped onto the surface of the island, as her head flung back. Rosalie unzipped Elizabeth's trousers, and pulled it down along with her panties, with her free hand.
"I love you so fucking much."
Rosalie got on her knees and placed a butterfly kiss on Elizabeth's hipbone.
"I love you too," Elizabeth savored the provocative kisses trailing around her thighs. When Rosalie's lips finally pressed against her mound, a shudder rippled through her body. Rosalie moved Elizabeth's right leg over her shoulder, as she continued to maneuver her fingers and tongue, with great motivation to tip her wife over the edge, "just like that. Fuck, when did you learn to do that?"
Elizabeth's mouth fell open, as Rosalie moved a finger over her butt cheeks. Flipping her wife's position, the front of Elizabeth's body was then pressed up against the counter, as Rosalie buried her face deeper between her thighs. Just enjoy it, babe.
Her fingers slid deeper, as Elizabeth's release came closer and closer. Elizabeth swallowed moan after moan, as she tried not to scream Rosalie's name on top of her lungs.
"Guess who came with gifts!"
The color drained from Elizabeth's face, as her mother-in-law walked into the kitchen. Eyes wide and horror invading her mind, she pushed Rosalie back with a nudge of her ass and grabbed her trousers to pull up her legs.
"Oh my fucking god."
Rosalie shrieked, as she fell back and hit her head on the floor. Elizabeth buttoned her trousers and knelt down to tend to her wife.
"I see that you were getting the best present there, Beth. Is my daughter okay?"
Kaitlyn giggled, as Abbi rushed in behind her. Thankfully, she didn't have to witness her mothers down and dirty.
"Wash your hands and your face."
Elizabeth whispered, as she helped Rosalie up from the floor. Rosalie's head was still aching, as she rubbed it with her hand.
"I'm in pain and that's the first thing you say to me?"
Elizabeth sighed and directed Rosalie toward a stool to sit on.
"When our daughter's in the kitchen and you've got my, uh, it's all over you." Damn, I was really wet.
Elizabeth grabbed a paper towel to wipe Rosalie's damp face.
"It looks like water. Abbi wouldn't know the difference anyway."
"Just go take a shower, please. I'll take one too."
Rosalie nodded and headed out of the kitchen. Abbi ran over to Elizabeth and showed her the melting snow in her hands.
"Mama, make snow angels with us? Everyone's here!"
Abbi rushed out of the kitchen and toward the living room.
"Who's here?"
Elizabeth asked a grinning Kaitlyn. She didn't even know that Kaitlyn was going to join them for Christmas.
"It's a surprise. Come on. They're waiting in the living room," Elizabeth followed Kaitlyn and was surprised to see a room full of people, "apparently, my daughters were having some fun of their own in the kitchen. Beth sent the poor thing to take a shower."
Elizabeth rubbed her hand over her shoulder with a sheepish smile. She certainly didn't expect to see Zoe and her family for the Christmas holidays either.
"I wasn't expecting-"
"You definitely weren't from the position I found you in. Luckily, you were facing me. I don't know what I would have done if-"
"I get it. I'm sorry."
Kaitlyn grabbed a running Abbi off of the floor and lifted her into her arms.
"No worries. I'm just glad she's getting," Kaitlyn looked at Abbi and smiled weakly, "I'm happy she's having fun."
Elizabeth excused herself and headed to her bedroom, where she heard the shower running. Shredding her clothes, she got into the shower with her wife.
"Did my mum traumatize you?"
Rosalie grabbed the wash cloth and handed it to Elizabeth.
"Let's not talk about that. Finish me off?"
Rosalie grinned widely, as Elizabeth wrapped her arms around her neck.
"Gladly."
