Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. -Mother Teresa

Husna stared at her reflection as the makeup artist brushed on the final touches. Her sky-blue dinner attire hugged her gracefully, accented with gold earrings, a bracelet, and a delicate necklace. The makeup artist combed her hair one last time and tied the gele neatly, completing the look.
"There," the artist smiled, snapping a quick picture.
Husna managed a tired but grateful smile. Despite the exhaustion, her heart felt full. Hameed's family had received her with so much love. The Buden Kai earlier that day had been overwhelming in the best way.
His mother unveiled her first with a gift of ₦500,000.
His siblings unveiled her with ₦300,000.
Then the rest of the family added ₦200,000, welcoming her fully into their home.
Her bridesmaids looked beautiful in peach, and her sister looked elegant in sky-blue to match her.
"It's time to go. Cars are already waiting," Faiza announced, giving Husna a final mist of perfume.
Faiza bent down and helped her with her high heels.
Husna winced slightly her feet were already protesting but with assistance they made it to the elevator.
Through the glass walls, she could see the convoy of cars outside. Some had already left."please give me my slippers. I'll change back when we get there. I can't survive these heels, wallahi my legs are dying."
Faiza chuckled and handed them over. "Don't worry, I've got you. Just change when we arrive."
She slipped into the slippers with relief.
Khadijah gathered the tail of Husna's gown. "I'm going in this car. Fati, follow me," she said as they all moved toward the entrance.
The convoy pulled off toward the dinner venue. Inside the car, Faisal turned to Husna with a grin.
"Madam, good evening. I never congratulated you properly. Congratulations, our bride. Thank you for marrying us after all the headache you gave us," he joked.
Hameed, dressed in a matching sky-blue kaftan with babban riga and a zannah bukar cap, chuckled.
"Babe, kin bani wahala ko?" he said, eyes on Husna.
Faiza rolled her eyes. "Ah, you people should be thanking Allah we even agreed to marry you. Stop complaining."."
She shot both men a glare, irritated by their teasing.
"You two should be thanking Allah that I even married you," she snapped lightly.
Faisal burst into laughter "Toh, thank you Allah that she married us!" he announced dramatically. Happy married life, Asma'u. Allah baku zaman lafiya. Next time we'll come back for the naming ceremony," Faisal added with a grin.
"Ameen," she replied softly.
Faiza then glanced at Hameed. "Ya Hameed, here's my best friend I hand her over to you with my trust."
He chuckled and reached for Husna's hand. The warmth of his touch made her shiver. He smiled knowingly.
"You look breathtaking in this bride attire," he whispered close to her ear, and her cheeks flushed with heat.
The car ride continued with Husna and Hameed chatting and laughing together until they reached the dinner venue. Their entrance was spectacular. The atmosphere inside was electric music, cheers, and flashing lights merged into one vibrant celebration. The MC kept the guests entertained while "Baddest Boy" blasted through the speakers, sending the crowd wild.
