10 p.m., tinulungan na ako ni Irene maligo at magbihis bago ako pupuntahan dito.
"Good evening, ma'am.." bati nung nurse.
"Good evening.." bati ko din pabalik.
"Transfer lang tayo ng bed ma'am ha." sabi niya habang inalalayan ako.
"Thank you." sabi ko.
"Okay ma'am, ready ka na? Let's go!" sabi nung nag-aassist.
"Wait natatakot pa ako." sabi ko at pinahinto muna sila.
"Manang, kaya mo to, tara let's go na. I'll be there din naman." sabi ni Irene.
Huminga lang ako ng malalim at nagpatuloy na kaming pumunta sa delivery room.
Almost 2 hours after..
"Ms. Marcos, you can now start pushing." sabi ni doktora.
"Ready?" tanong niya at tumango na lamang ako.
"1, 2, 3, push!!"
"Ahh!!" sigaw ko habang hinawakan ko ng mahigpit kamay ni Irene.
"Again, 1, 2, 3, push!!"
"Okay, well done, pause muna to take a breath." sabi ni doktora.
"Di ko na kaya!! Ayoko na!" sigaw ko na parang maiiyak na. Pawis na pawis na ako, at ang sakit at bigat na ng katawan ko.
"One more push, Imee.." sabi ni doktora.
I feel drowsy, and feel like I'm passing out but, I have to finish this.
"1, 2, 3, push!!"
"Ahh!!"
Matapos nun, ay nakarinig na ako ng iyak ng bata. 🥺
"October 5, 1997, 12:28 a.m."
"Congratulations, it's a girl!!" bati ni doktora habang nilagay siya sa dibdib ko, at bigla nalang siyang natahimik.
"Omg, hello love. I love you." sabi ko habang sinuklay ang kaniyang makapal na buhok ang mga daliri ko.
