Imee's POV

I quickly ran to her and held her hand. She was pale, she barely had the energy to stand nor talk, she was drenched in sweat, cold sweat.

"Ma.." she slowly uttered.

"Darling, what's wrong?" I said as my voice broke.

"I-I don't know.. my head hurts.." she said as a teardrop rolled down her cheeks.

"We'll bring you to the hospital.." I asked as I slowly helped her up.

Some of the PSGs helped me, but it was mainly me who held her up and out of the bathroom, her arms were around my neck and the other on one of the PSGs, eyes were staring, but I couldn't care less. At that time, I just detached myself from everyone and everything around me.

"Ma'am.. Ma'am Imee.. tinatawag po kayo." one of the PSGs uttered which broke me from the haze I was in.

"Imee!" a familiar voice uttered.

"Luke?" I said. Finally, someone familiar.

"Anong nangyari??" he asked, but hindi ako umimik.

"Ihahatid ko kayo sa hospital.." he said, I simply nodded. He took Eloise of my shoulder.

As we went outside, we met a tall, fair skinned and a medyo chinito man. Guess who?

"Dad? Anong nangyari?!" he uttered, his eyes widened as soon as he saw Eloise.

"Tita Imee.. Are you okay?" he worriedly asked, he then made mano offered me a half hug.

"I'm okay, Lorenzo.. Si Eloise lang talaga.." I replied.

"Dalhin natin sa hospital- I parked near lang naman.." he said before he ran towards his car.

He quickly pulled up in the restaurant entrance and we slowly let Eloise enter.

"Tita, I'm sorry ah- I didn't visit when you know.." Lorenzo apologized as he drove.

"It's okay, Enzo. She understands naman.." I said as I gently caressed Eloise's hair.

"Ikaw, how are you? I haven't seen you in awhile ah.." I said.

"Kakauwi lang neto galing Estados Unidos eh.. Kinuha ko sa airport kanina.." Luke replied.

"Hala, welcome home, Zo! Grabe inuwi mo, ginawa kang driver ni Eloise.." I said and giggled.

"Frenemy ko 'yan eh!" he smiled as he took a gaze at Eloise from the rear mirror.

Suddenly, Luke's phone rang.

"Luke! Magkasama ba kayo ni Imee, anong nangyari?!" he asked.

"Bat mo nalaman?" tanong ni Luke.

"Ang bilis kaya kumalat ng news.. Ano ba kasing nangyari?" aniya.

"Ano ba kasing nangyari?" he calmly asked.

"Si Eloise.. nanghina nalang bigla.." I uttered.

"Okay, huminahon ka lang.. Dumeretso na kayo sa Malacañang.. Ako ng bahala sa doktor niya.." he uttered.

"No, no, no! Mabilis kumalat ang mga bagay bagay, di dapat Malacañang pinupuntahan namin after mag-pass out si Eloise, diba?" I panicked.

"Mas maraming makakaalam pag ako yung pumunta sa ospital, okay lang din naman, di naman kita ikinahihiya bilang asawa, kay ganda mo kaya.." humirit pa nga.

Both Luke and Lorenzo turned tomato red containing their giggles, nakakahiya, nakakapikon!

"You're crazy!" I said.

"For the right reasons naman kasi.." he replied.

"Tsaka, anong gagawin namin 'don?! Eh nasa ibang bansa ka." I raised my voice.

"Hindi, nandito na ako - infact, kakadating ko lang. Hihintayin ko nalang kayo." he assured.

"Sige na nga.." I concede.

"Thank you.." he said.

A few minutes and we were already in the Malacañang compound. Rodrigo met us at the main entrance, he held my hand tight before he led us to the private quarters where the doctor was waiting.

"Good afternoon, dra.." I greet.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Imee.. So, kayo pala ang importanteng pasyente ng presidente." she said and smiled.

"I trust you won't disseminate such information?" I said.

"Ofcourse.." she said and smiled.

"So, ano nga bang nangyari??" I asked.

"She got fatigues, because obviously, of her cancer.." she uttered.

"So.. this is just the side effects ng chemo.. That's good news right?" I ask.

"Yes, the negative effects of chemotherapy has really took a toll on her.." she replied.

"As long as she gets well, I think tatangapin nalang namin ang mga gantong pangyayari?" Rodrigo said.

"But according to the scans, we had just earlier.. her chemotherapy is unfortunately, not working.."

"Anong not working?! Paganahin niyo!" Rodrigo suddenly raised his voice, I had to slightly hold him to calm down.

"Mr. President, I'm sorry but the healthcare system and industry in your country is terribly bad." prankang sabi ng doktor.

"If we keep on pursuing this treatment, she'll keep on getting weaker while her cancer progresses.." she added.

"That is why, I suggest we concede with this treatment plan, and seek professionals abroad, like stem cell transplant, and the like.." aniya.

I kept myself together and just nodded, "Thank you, doc.. I'm sorry for President Duterte's behavior.. It's just.. he cares about Eloise very much.. They've come a long way.." I said and smiled.

"It's okay, Ms. Imee.. It's very usual for reactions like this, I'll just give you all time to think.." she replied.

"Dra, paumanhin talaga.." Rodrigo uttered.

"It's okay, Mr. President.. Just contact me if may plano na kayo.." she said before she left the room.

I'm not proud of crying infront people who're not close to me. Once she went out, I was finally able to shed a tear.

When will this ever stop. Why does a problem keep on showing up after another.
