Imee Marcos' POV

The police shot Lillian by the leg, she then collapsed due to the pain.

"Ha! I'm so proud of you both!" Rodrigo laughingly said and gave us a thumbs up, I just smiled and approached Eloise first.

"Are you sure di ka natamaan?" I ask as I check her.

"I'm fine, mommy.. It was only the police, I think.." she replied and wiped her tears.

"Mommy's sorry, my love.. I'm sorry.." I said as I hugged her tight.

"It's fine mama, I love you.." she whispered as she laid her head on to my shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Rodrigo then asked as he approached us both.

"I'm fine!" I replied.

"How about you, Ellie?" he asked.

"I'm fine, Tito Rod!" she replied and smiled. I just stared at Rodrigo, as my rage slowly set in.

"Gago ka ba? You don't do that again-" I sermon, but before I got to finish, another gunshot went off.

"Can you stop playing family infront me? It hurts my eyes.." Lillian said and grinned before dropping the gun and willfully surrendered to the police.

Everything stopped for a moment before I saw Rodrigo on the ground as Eloise was kneeling beside him.

"M-mommy.." she said with tears on her eyes as she opened Rodrigo's tuxedo, revealing the blood that smeared his white undershirt.

"Uh- I'm fine.." he said as he touched his abdomen and saw blood on his hands.

"What. The. Hell. Could they ever do to you?!" Eloise madly stood up and approached Lillian who was being surrounded by the police, thankfully, Irene and Greggy were there to calm her down.

While Bonget was running towards us, "Paramedics please! Natamaan si Mayor Duterte!", he shouted.

"Kapit ka lang Rod.. please.." I begged as I applied pressure to his wound.

"I'm fine.. you go inside na, mahal!" he said

"You're not safe as long as nandito pa si Lillian baka mapahamak kayo dito.." he explained.

"Hey, hey, hey, look at me. She got arrested already, I'm not leaving you here.." I whispered as I held him near me.

"Josefa, I'm fine." he said again, trying to reassure me.

"No, you're not fine!" I raised my voice as tears run further down my cheeks.

"I'm fine because I was with you, ngayon pwede ka na umalis.." he said and smiled.

"No! Ayoko nga, let me see!" I said as I raised his inner long sleeves polo.

"You're bleeding. Too much." I said as I tried to re-apply pressure to the wound.

"Si Eloise, saan?" he weakly asked.

"Eloise!" Bonget called and signalled her to come back, of which, she did. She knelt beside us and held his hand.
