"Eloise! Ikawng bata ka bat ka nagabihan, lagot ka sak-"

"Well, this is awkward.." Eloise talked after the room filled with silence and tense.

"Why?" Enzo whispered.

"Nothing, you'll totally despise it.." Eloise whispered back.

"Eloise! Clean your room! May tinupi na mga damit mo dun! Put it in your cabinets!" Imee shouted, in which, Eloise quickly did, and Enzo followed.

"Don't shout at the child.." Rodrigo calmly interrupts.

"I'm not shouting, Rodrigo!" Imee replied in her raised voice as she walked towards the kitchen.

"I'm completely chill and civil, you want wat-water??.." Imee replied, napiyok pa si mhiema.

"No, thank you.." he replied as he sat on the counter chair.

"Cookies?" said Imee as she offered a jar of cookies.

"Bought?" Rodrigo asked as he took one from the jar.

"Baked." she proudly replied.

"It didn't burn this time?" he teases.

"No, it didn't burn this time, gaga!" she retaliated, and landed a slap on his hand.

"Where's your husband?" he asks.

"He's not my husband, anymore." she blantly replied.

"Why not?" Rodrigo curiously asked.

"Didn't wanna be.." Imee replied.

"Estupido." he said, over his breath.

Both their eyes met and created some sort of spark. Rodrigo took the first step. He cupped Imee's cheeks and pulled her for a kiss.

"Tornerò sempre a cercarti, anche quando non mi sembrerà giusto." he whispered. It felt surreal.

"Tito Rody!" Eloise shouted.

"Tito Rody! Green light na po!" she added.

They we're in the middle of Makati traffic, a long way from Imee's countertop. Turned out it was all from Rody's imagination. 😋

"Oh." he replied and continued driving.

A few minutes later, they've finally arrived at the Marcos Residence in Makati. For real this time.
Imee was on the house's gazebo, going crazy, because its getting late and Eloise haven't come home. The driver and the kasambahays we're also there.

"Jusko ka Eloise! Saan ka galing?" she asks.

"Ay! Nag-dinner lang po kani with friends, sorry di ko nasabi.." Eloise reasons.

"I thought nasa Ilocos ka.." she added.

"Sino naghatid sayo??.." Imee asks.

"Oh si ano, Enzo!" Eloise answers.

"Enzo? They got another car.." Imee enthusiastically said.

"Oh yes po! Hehe.." Eloise reasoned again.

"Oh! Wait puntahan ko.." Imee muttered.

"Mhie, no! nagmamadali sila!!" Eloise shouted as she followed her mom.

Rodrigo saw the two approach, and also saw Eloise signaling him "no."
How badly he wants to talk but instead , did nothing. "I'll find another time.." he said to himself.

"Good evening, tita!!" Enzo greets as he lowers the tinted window of the SUV.

"Good evening! Si Manong Joaquin ba yan?" Imee asks, referring to the one driving.

"I wanna say thank you, for ano, helping Manong Carlo send over some stuff.." Imee added.

"Ay no! Hindi, bago yan, comes with the car.." Eloise muttered as she pulled her mom away from the SUV.

"BYE ENZO! See you tomorrow! Thank you!" Eloise bid her farewell as the two departed.

"You are very weird.." Imee muttered.

"I know.." Eloise replied and embraced her mom as they walked back in.
