Francheska Eloise Marcos' POV

"Hello? Yes, papunta na po ako, Tito Rod.." I said, on call.

"Okay na lahat?" he asked.

"Yes! Tita Irene helped me fix everything naman!" I replied.

"Sige, papunta na ako diyan, I'll stall mom so that you can check out the place naman.." I added.

We're currently in New York to spend Christmas with the family. We're planning to go home to the Philippines before new year, and with a ring on mom's finger! Yes, mangyayari na people!

I left early magmuni muni by myself around New York, while the other half was, ang paglabas lang namin ni Tita Irene to prepare for tonight, but mom doesn't know that. 😜

Sayang nga, the family's not complete, Tito Bonget, and the rest of their family is with Tita Liza's family at Baguio. Kuya Matt and Kuya Borgy is spending Christmas with Mama Meldy in San Juan. While Kuya Matt, Kuya Alfie, and Kuya Luis are all spending Christmas with their own little families. Sa New Year nalang babawiin.

By the time for lunch, Tita Irene have already arrived at the hotel. We went on our separate ways, since mamayang gabi pa sila magpapakita ni mommy. I just decided to enter their hotel suite, which was just infront of mine and a couple doors from Tito Greggy and Tita Irene's.

*Knocking* "Pabukas po!"

"Hello! Ang late mo ha!" Tito Rod greeted as he opened the door.

"Wala lang, nagmumuni muni lang ako.." I replied as I went with the flow.

"Si Mom?" I ask.

"Nasa kwarto nanonood ng tv.." he replied.

"Okay!! Puntahan ko na, and are you going na ba? Send ko nalang sayo ang address Tito Rod?" I asked.

"Okay, messenger lang.." he replied.

"Good afternoon, mommyy!!" I greet as I entered their room. She was still in her pajamas, watching Home Alone on the tv. A Christmas classic, indeed.

"Where have you been?!" she asked as I sat beside her.

"S-shopping..?" I unsurely replied.

"And you didn't bring mommy!" pa-tampo niyang sabi.

"I didn't buy anything naman, just across the streets may boutiques naman diyan.. Nagikot-ikot lang ako.." I lied, white lies.

"Imee.. darling?" Tito Rod called as he gently knocked on the room's door.

"Ano naman Rodrigo?" pamaldita niyang sagot.

"Lalabas muna ako.." ani ni Tito Rod.

"Where are you going? Mamba-babae?" she teased.

"Charot, okay, go lang! Bring me food pag-uwi, mahal.." dagdag niya with her paawa effect.

"I will, love you!" he agreed.

"Oh, and uwi ka before dinner! Gala tayo, it's our first time in our favorite city with Eloise! I-gala natin!" she reminded and smiled.

"May mas maganda akong plano, love you!" he said and left a flying kiss before going out of the suite.

We both just laughed. "Mom, gusto mo mag-add tayo ng fake nails?" pag-aaya ko as I took the paper bag of fake nails I bought kanina.

"This one oh.." I said as I handed out a matte, maroon colored nails. I just know, the diamond is going to pop off with this color!

"Sige!" she quickly agreed. Buti naman.

Rodrigo Roa Duterte's POV

Pagkapasok niya palang ng suite, binigay na ni Eloise ang entrance pass sa akin, kailangan kasi to, para i-check ang venue.

Binilisan kong sumakay ng taxi at pumunta sa isang sosyal na building sa Rockefeller Center, we rented out the whole main observatory deck. The place is already set up, Salamat Eloise! Daming ka-artehan! May maliliit na kandila na nakapalibot. May mga balloons pa sa loob. May mga petals ng rosas. May mga christmas lights pa nga!

Magastos, pero worth it naman. Sinong mag-aakala, after what? 30 long years. I'd be exclusively proposing to my greatest love at one of the most busiest and well known buildings in our favorite place. May pa-effect pa na snow. It is perfect.
