Irene's POV
It's almost 9 p.m., pero Greggy insisted on taking me out on little Starbucks trip, I couldn't complain.
"One black coffee, one green tea, and two banana breads, for here please.." I order.
"Is that it po, ma'am?"
"Yes, thank you- ay excuse me.. Dear, bayaran mo muna please, I have a call.." I said as I stepped out of the line.
"Miss, pakidagdag nalang please nang isang cinnamon roll, to go.." he whispered. Akala niya di ko siya maririnig?!
I sent him a message before I gave him a stern look.
"..Gregorio, sugar mo! 😡.."
"Ay, scratch the cinnamon roll out of the list nalang po miss.. Thank you.." he distinctly said. Yan, very good.
"Hello? Yes manang!?" I said as I answered my phone.
"Irene! Nandiyan ba si Eloise sa'yo?" natataranta niyang tanong.
