You wonder where Imee has been, not showing up to her daughter's card distribution?

She's in some company lobby in Pasay. Reading a book and wondering, "Gosh! How much do I have to pay to be in a sweet and cheesy, loving romance novel."

Imee Marcos' POV

Eloise literally have spammed me with calls and messages, I wonder what she's up to.

I told her I was in Ilocos, doing some things for congress. Well, I'm obviously not.

"Ma'am Imee, you can now go to the office.." Lizzie, Tommy's secretary announced.

Yes, you read that right - Tommy. Her ex husband who basically denied her daughter. Yes, that Tommy.

"Ma'am!" Lizzie shouted, grabbing my attention.

"Yes?" I asked and turn my head towards her direction

"May maligno po dun! Warning lang!" she warned and giggled. Oh Lizzie, always been on my side.

"Got it!" I replied and gave a provoking smile.

I walk in the hallways towards his office, gosh, this place have changed, since what? about, 12 years ago.

I took a deep breath, and knocked on his office's door.

"Come in!" he shouted from inside his office.
(A/N: Malalang deja vu ha. 🤪)

I go in peacefully, but still walked in my high heels, making my utmost - ex wife, independent woman - presence felt from every step I take.

"What are you doing here?!" he furiously asked.

"Yes! What is this fraud doing here?"
Colleen, his mistress, now, partner butted in.

"What? I own half of this building - divorce, remember?" I replied.

"Oh and Colleen, right? The mistress? Coming from you really? Kapal ng mukha." I added.

"I need to talk to him, without you." I replied

"Out please.." I added.

"You don't order me!" she raised her voice.

"Oh, I think I just did.." I replied and gave a smile.

"Easy!" Tommy raised his voice.

"Easy, I'm pregnant." she said, as if it would affect me.

"Oh! Is that so?" I ask.

"Yes, and HE is going to be an heir." she boasted.

"Oh! I pity you, Colleen. My sincere sympathies." I replied and rolled my eyes - she then went out of the room.

"What is it, Imee??" he said, looking slightly pissed.

"Well, your daughter, is asking for you to be at her graduation. I take all the credits - but still.. she asks for you." I straightforward said.

"Certainly! After what 12 years? You come and ask me for that? You're kidding!" he said and mockingly laughed.

"Okay then.. no problem.." I said, stood up and found my way out of his office.

"Imee, wait!" Tommy calls.

"Actually there's something.." he said.

"I'm listening?" I turned around and replied.

"I'll go, if you give me 1/2 of your shares in the Ayala Corporation.." he replied.

"Excuse me??" I reply, pissed.

"1/2." he replied. That's 112M, kapal ng mukha neto.

I approached him and held his hand. "Oh Tommy, is your company slowly going down??" I replied.

"Well, yes.." he replied and gripped my hands even tighter.

"Colleen's too proud of a bankrupt company. Pity. Deserve!" I mockingly added. Oh universe, is this divine justice? if it is, I love it.

"Alright! 1/4!" he bargained. 56M, oh no way.

"No thanks!" I replied.

"1/8!" he bargained.

"23 million for someone who doesn't know the meaning of 'child support' to come at my daughter's graduation? Fine. Charity is my thing, I guess." I thought to myself.

"Fine." I replied.

"Legal papers will be sent here tomorrow." I added.

"Legal papers?" he asks.

"This is a business deal, don't think you're getting away with this Thomas."  I replied.

"That's my daughter's graduation! It's my right to be there." he replied.
(A/N: Bilis magmood change ah)

"About twelve years late, dear.." I replied.

"Fine." he replied.

"Fine? Can you say that again? Why the change of heart?" I mockingly asked.

"I think I've learned about 1 million times not to mess with Imee Marcos.." he replied with his head down. This is the best thing I've seen, my whole life.

"Well done." I replied as I went out of the office.
