Imee's POV

"Narinig ko na lahat ng kaylangan kong marinig.." dagdag pa ni Eloise sabay pagpipilit ngumiti.

"El-" ani ko habang sinubukang hawakan mga kamay niya.

"No! Don't touch me!" she said as she avoided my touch.

"You had YEARS to tell me, but you still lied! All my life, I've been trying to get that Tommy's attention, I needed a dad! And you didn't give me the chance to.." she added as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Eloise, please let me explain.." I uttered.

"No. I can't listen anymore to your narcissistic lies!" she raised her voice as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Eloise! I'm still your mother!" I rebut. I was aggravated with how she reacted, but at the end of the day, this is all my fault.

"Are you really my mother?? Or is that one of your lies too?? If it is please tell me earlier, so I can have time to adjust.." she said, which wrenched my heart. Too much that I let the pain convert into anger.

"You don't talk to me like that, Eloise!" I replied as I accidentally laid my hands on her face. Her tears started to fall more rapidly as she stared me.

"I'm sorry, anak.. Mommy didn't mean to-" I then apologized as soon as I saw her cheeks turn red.

"No.." napailing laman siya at dali daling lumabas ng opisina.

"Tingnan mo anong ginawa mo.." Rodrigo uttered.

"Go! Sundan mo! I don't need you!" I reply.

"Fine, ipapakuha ko lahat ng gamit ko sa bahay mo mamaya, di mo naman ako kaylangan.." he replied as he walked out.

What have I done..

Eloise's POV

I was hurt by what mommy just did, I know I also had a part on what happened. But she lied to me, then sinampal pa niya ako. All I wanted was the truth.

I ran out of the president's office, I really don't know how to address him right now.

"Eloise!" I heard Tito Rod, or dad, whatever, call my name. I just continued walking like I didn't hear anything, hanggang dumating nalang ako sa guard house.

"Miss Eloise?" ani nung isang guard.

"Yes po, magandang umaga!" I greet as I forced a smile on.

"B-bat po kayo naglalakad?" dagdag pa netong tanong.

"Exercise, manong guard!" I said as I smiled.

"Ahm, saan po dumadaan yung mga taxi dito?" tanong ko sakaniya.

"Tumawid ka lang po, tas.. lakad ka lang ng straight, tas tawid ulit.. nandun pa po sa pinakadulo dumadaan yung taxi.." aniya.

"Oh, ang layo pala.. sige, salamat po, manong guard!" I thank habang inaaral yung daan.

"Ma'am, sure na po kayo? Lalakarin niyo po?" tanong niya ulit.

"Maliit na bagay.." I said and smiled bago lumabas ng compound.

"Ma'am!" tawag niya ulit.

"Po?" sagot ko naman at napahinto sa paglalakad.

"Mag-ingat ka ha - hindi maiiwasan ang mga masasamamg tao, paborito ka pa naman ng presidente.." he said which made a little tear roll through my eye again.

"Ofcourse po! Babalikan ko pa yan eh.." sagot ko at pilit na tumawa, sinagot niya naman ako ng thumbs up.

I then walked towards the pinakadulo end of the street to find a taxi. Gosh, buti nalang I wore a white tshirt.
