Francheska Eloise Marcos' POV

We're now on our way to Mama Meldy's house in Laoag for dinner, Tito Rod's driving, mom is on the passenger's seat and syempre me, third wheeling na naman. We were the last to arrive at Mama Meldy's house.

"Gosh! Sinong malapit sila pa yung late.." Tito Bonget teased as he welcomed us to the house.

"You don't own my oras, Bonget.." pamalditang sagot ni mommy.

"Ay sungit.." he muttered.

"Sorry, nah-highblood yan sakin kanina.." Tito Rod teasingly said as he fist bumped Tito Bonget.

I entered the living room where Mama Meldy, the cousins, my older brothers, Tita Irene, Tito Greggy, Tito Cid, and Tita Liza. The two Marcos-Araneta brothers kept themselves busy, Kuya Alfie doing daddy duties, and Kuya Luis is in the kitchen, preparing dessert with Ate Xandra.

"Well hello, my ever beautiful Mama Meldy!" I greet as I beso her.

"Mama Meldy she just wants her name written on your last will!" Kuya Sandro teased.

"Can you shush, Kuya Sandro!!" I said and kinunutan siya ng noo, he got a slap in the shoulder from Tita Irene aswell.

"I'm the better looking apo, ma.. I mean if pwede.. Ferdinand Michael, on your last will.." Kuya Mike teased aswell.

"Gwapo din naman ako ah.." Kuya Simon added.

"We all know who ang favorite ni Mama Meldy, ako. I'm the only one who followed their footsteps in politics, kaya ako na din magma-mana, diba mama?" Kuya Matthew teased as he kissed Mama Meldy's cheek.

"You're arguing pa, sa akin naman ang bagsak nung last will.." Kuya Borgy also joined the teasing.

"Excuse me, sa aming apat ang last will ni Mama, wag kayong mga assumera!" said Tita Aimee as she entered the living room, from the kitchen.

"Mga walang hiya kayo! Mama Meldy's not dying kaya! No wonder di kayo mga paborito!" I laughingly said and gave them a teasing face as I cuddled Mama Meldy as she was laughing. Enjoying the show of her bulakbol na mga apo, and yours truly.

"Mama Meldy, I have news for dinner.." I whispered, she just nodded her head and I kissed her cheeks.

"Tita Ellie, s-shipSsip!" a five year old Andy said as Kuya Alfie lead him to the living room. Di na ako masu-surprise sino nagturo.

"What did you just say to Tita Ellie!?" I asked as I picked him up and carried him.

"Tita Ellie, ganda!" he teased which made the whole room laugh. Sinong sipsip dito, Andy?

"Oh hi! Sabi nila manang, food is ready!" Kuya Luis said as him and Ate Xandra went out of the kitchen in their aprons.

We then followed them to the kitchen, and sat on the dining table.

"Well, Eloise.. What was the news you were telling?" Mama Meldy asked as we ate dinner.

"I filed an application for a Medical School.." I calmly said.

"Medical school? Didn't you just start college?" Kuya Matthew asked.

"The application is not necessarily for now, maybe I'll get to use it in a few years once I get an undergraduate degree. Its just that they offer advanced medical courses, I just wanted to pressure myself. Besides, they have a 3% acceptance rate. Wala lang, I'm also just trying my luck.." I answer.

"Iba tong anak ni Imee, pini-pressure sarili pag walang magawa.." Tito Bonget remarked.

"Well first of all, which school?" Mommy asked and gave me a stern look.

"Di mo alam?" Tita Aimee asked and giggled.

"Hindi. Mahilig gumawa ng mga sikreto tung pamangkin mo.." Mom replied.

"Which school, darling?" Tita Irene asked.

"Harvard.." I calmly replied.

"An ivy?!" Tito Bonget shockingly replied and almost spat his food out.

Everyone was stunned, halos di sila makapaniwala sa sinabi ko.

"Can someone please speak? Bakit ba? Tinatakot niyo ako.." I said.

"Good job!" - Tito Rod.

"I'm speechless.." Tito Bonget remarked.

"Why?!" I curiously asked.

"Well for starters, it's an ivy league school.." Tita Aimee replied.

"Bakit ba? Si mommy's from an ivy aswell?" I asked.

"As a very ma-pride person in this family, I'm saying that.. Princeton is not Harvard. Daig mo na kaming lahat.." - Mommy

"I knew I chose the right favorite apo.." Mama Meldy uttered.

"Ouch.. *cough* Ouch.." Vinny dramatically reacted.

"Syempre, nag-mana sa akin.." Mommy proudly replied.

"She was staying with me for a year tas di ko nalaman? Oh my God.. you are getting good at keeping secrets ha, Eloise.." Tita Irene teased.

"Paano naman akong nanay niya, di ko nga alam.." Mom rebutted as she ate her carbonara and gave me a stern look.

"It's just, I wanted you all to know at the same time. Sorry." I said and offered a peace sign.

After dinner, the adults stayed on the living room to talk about the elections, I was there aswell to listen.

"Manang, still local? Ayaw mo national? Senate?" Tito Bonget asked.

"No, not yet.. Next election yata.. 2019, Senate.." she replied as she drank her wine.

"Ikaw, san ka tatakbo?" Mommy asked.

"Vice presidency.." Tito Bonget replied.

"What?! Who's your running mate naman?" Mom asked.

"I actually have a proposal.." Tito Bonget said as he sat properly.

"Go.." Mom said and gave him a stern look.

"Rody.. as.. my.. running mate.. president?" utal utal niyang sabi.

"No, that's absurd.." Mom replied. What? No? It's a good idea, Ma!

"Davao is the top city in the Philippines. They will love you!" Tito Bonget suggested.

"He's retiring from politics.." Mom replied. He is?!

"You are?!" I shockingly asked along with Tita Irene's, "Talaga?", Tito Bonget's,"You're joking!", And Tita Aimee's, "Totoo?!".

"I've thought about it kagabi.." he replied.

"Sa palagay ko, uuwi akong Davao and ia-announce ko by this week.." he added.

"It's okay, politics is toxic and draining after all.." Mama Meldy replied.

"So.. we're not having a Marcos - Duterte tandem?" I asked.

"No.. I guess not.." Vinny whispered from beside me.
