Graduation Day

Francheska Eloise Marcos' POV

It's now my graduation day. Dito lang kami sa house nag-prepare, kuripot mommy ko. She just hired someone to do my make-up and another person to do my hair.

Tita Elena, mom's assistant, brought up a series of hangered filipiñanas in the room. With mom and me is the rest of my titas, Tita Liza, Tita Irene, and Tita Aimee! Andito lang talaga sila to criticize my outfit. Chariz!

Tita Elena took the first filipiniana and showed it to the four.

"I love the color, but something's off about it..." Tita Liza criticized.

"Dadaigin ng petticoat niya ang toga." Tita Aimee seconded.

"Madapa ka pa sa taas niyan, Eloise.." Tita Irene added.

"Ay totoo, wag na!" mom concluded.

"Cute, but she'll look old, mas bagay yata sa akin

"Cute, but she'll look old, mas bagay yata sa akin." Tita Irene muttered.

"Pumaparaan ang Irene.." Tita Aimee joked.

"Nagtitipid ka ba Mrs. Araneta? Magpagawa ka!" Mommy Imee added.

"Dilawan." Tita Aimee whispered to Tita Liza and giggled.

"Baliw." I heard mommy Imee whisper back.

"Yan na lang, prim and proper tas simple.."

"Ma, I look like a corpse.."

"Huy! You do not!"

"If you do, you'd be the most beautiful corpse I've seen." Tita Aimee jokes as she held my chin up.

"Aimee!!" they all shouted and gave Tita Aimee every single death stare in the world.

"Sorry sorry!" she replied and gave them all a piece sign.

"Tara na nga, masyado na tayong nang-aabala dito, aaaand I have to get ready.." Mommy Imee muttered and they all went out of my room.

A few moments later..

Mommy came in my room again, but all dressed up this time. She wore a beautiful modern filipiniana and styled her half up, half down hair herself.

"You totally outdid yourself.." I compliment.

"Ija, this is a long way from 'outdoing' in my dictionary, do you even know your mommy, Francheska Eloise?" she jokes back, as she sat down the make up chair.

"I gotta go first, mom!" I announced and went out of my room.

We took photos in EVERY corner of the house na yata. Tita Irene hired her  photographer friend.

Mommy then went down after getting her make-up done.

"Wait lang, masisira mascara ko!" she said as she approached me.

"Ma'am! Kayo naman po!" the photographer announced and we took photos.
