Chapter 64

Day Two.

Eloise stayed the night in the hospital with Imee and Rodrigo. She gets to occupy the bed for the patient's companion, leaving her mother to sleep beside her Tito Rod in the hospital bed. Eloise then went out of the room early to get her and her mom breakfast. Imee first freshened herself up before helping out Rodrigo to do the same.

"There, gwapo ka na ulit!" Imee teased as she brushed Rodrigo's hair.

"Ouch.." pa-drama namang sagot ni Rodrigo.

"I mean gwapo ka naman talaga.." she teased even further.

"Oh really?" he said as he pulled her into an embrace.

"So touchy feely!!" she complained.

"You have your food na pala.. Kain na.." Imee said as she tried to open the food tray in the table.

"Hihintayin natin si Eloise, sabay na tayo.." sagot naman ni Rodrigo.

"No, dapat kainin mo na yan, kasi may meds ka pa mamayang alas otso.." she firmly said.

"Fine.." he replied. Wala siyang magawa he chose an alpha woman. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Imee Marcos' POV

Saan na nga ba to si Eloise..
Sinubukan kong tawagan pero busy ang kaniyang linya, baka may ibang katawag lang din. Kaya tinawagan ko na din si Attorney Mabini, yung abogado ko, upang i-follow up ang kaso na isinampa namin kahapon matapos niya kaming bisitahin.

*On Call*

"Good morning po, Miss Imee.. We'll find a hearing date by this week at expect na mabilisan lang din naman ang court decision, since we have witnesses and proper evidences na din.." aniya.

"Okay, thank you.." pasasalamat ko naman.

"How 'bout the girl? Do we file charges against the her?" tanong naman niya.

"What? No. She's a minor di niya kakayahin makasuhan.." sagot ko naman.

"She has a big chance na masama sa kaso. Kasuhan na natin.." sulsol niya naman.

"No." sabi ko naman at pinutol ang tawag.

"Plus, it probably just slipped her tongue. Maybe it was just an honest mistake nang bata.." dagdag pa niya.

"Honest mistake? You almost got killed?" I replied and raised a brow.

"That's why she needs help, para ma-guide siya through her mistakes.." I added.

"No, this would just involve more people sa kaso. If pinapalaki pa natin to, mas matatagalan tayo. It's simple. A deranged woman got jealous, attempted murder. Period. Case closed.." he replied.
