Three weeks after..

Francheska Eloise Marcos' POV

I'm just here at MIA, waiting for my sundo. Yes, I'm back in the Philippines. And if you're asking, no, I didn't pursue Harvard anymore. Never in my life would I have expected that I respectfully declined an ivy league school.

"Eloise!" Someone called my name from the crowd. It was mom, I then quickly ran towards her.

"You're the one fetching me?" I asked and gave a wide smile.

"Yes, ayaw mo?" she sarcastically asked and smiled.

"No, I just thought- busy ka.." I replied and hugged her tight.

"I'll always make time for you.." she said as she kissed my cheeks and umakbay sa akin, while one of her bodyguards took my luggages.

We then quickly went out of the airport.

"Soooo, where's Tito Rod?" I asked while I tried checking her hands - no sign of a 3 million diamond proposal ring.

If eto talaga si Tito Rod nagpropose without me, papatayin ko yun. Kidding!

"He's in Pampanga with your Tito Bonget.." She replied as we were walking towards the parking lot of the airport.

"Pampanga?" I asked.

She stared at me and gave an enthusiastic smile. "You're Tito Rod is running daw ulit..!" she said.

"Mayor ulit?" I asked.

"Presidency! Isn't that what you're asking for, eto na!" she said and smiled.

Sabi ko na nga ba! He was planning to do so! Pakipot talaga to si Tito Rod!

"No comment?" she added.

"I didn't exactly expect na you'd tell me that in the airport parking lot noh.." I replied.

"Okay, i-process mo muna lahat.." she uttered as we entered the car.

[Eloise] "So Tito Rod is running with Tito Bonget?"

[Imee] "Planning to, yes."

[Eloise] "Halos inubos ko buong bakasyon ko sa Pilipinas to convince him tas pag-alis ko lang pala mago-oo!"

[Eloise] "Bakit nga pala daw? Impulsive yarn?"

[Imee] "He was complaining about how long it takes for national funds na umabot sa LGUs which is true.."

"And bin-lackmail mo daw!" she added and positioned her arms to her waist.

Taksil!

"Hala, hindi ah!" I rebut.

"Alam mo, we have a lot to catch up on, let's eat lunch at Wolfgang's lang po, manong!" she invited, and the driver agreed naman.

We just sat down on a table at Wolfgang's, me, mommy, and her two bodyguards on the other table, Manong Fernan, our driver denied to go lunch with us, masyado dawng magastos - so we decided to just order him takeout. We were then given the menu.

"Good afternoon, Miss Imee, Miss Eloise! Here's our menu for today!" the waiter greeted and handed us the menu.

Ang weird lang, everywhere I go here kilala ako.

We just ordered grilled salmon for mommy, a serve of filet mignon for me, mashed potatoes for my side, and caesar salad for mom, and two slices of New-York style cheesecakes for mom and me.

"Continuing what we were talking about kanina. Ayaw mo yun? Eloise Marcos, the reason behind a Duterte presidency?" she teased.

[Eloise] "Mommy naman eh!"
