Imee Marcos' POV

Later in the afternoon,

Aimee was getting her hair and make-up done. I was next and last in line since Mama, Irene and Liza already got their make-up done earlier, but nonetheless still a long way to go. I decided to wear my gown first, so that my hair and make-up won't get ruined later.

I wore a red silk gown with detachable puff sleeves. I just wore the dress first, and attach the sleeves later. Everyone was busy but I needed someone to zip the back of my dress since its too far at di ko abot. So, well.. I decided to go to Rodrigo's room.

It was a hard time trying to walk - well, run from the edge of the hallway to the other, trying to make sure no one sees me with my dress' back wide open. I quickly entered the guest room where Rodrigo was also preparing, and having a hard time fixing his tie.

"Rod.." I call his name as I entered the room.

"Yes?" he asked, looking very stressed with his tie.

"Can you zip my dress up?" I ask and turned around, facing the mirror and his reflection just staring at me.

"Ano titingala ka lang diyan? Bilis ako na next mamakeup-an!" I complain.

"Ang ganda naman kasi ng date ko tonight.." he muttered as he zip my dress up and hugged me from the back.

"Haharot mo, Duterte.." I complained.

"What?! Ang ganda mo naman talaga.." he replied and tightened his hug.

"Shut up! Wala pa akong make-up! Di pa ako maganda.." pagd-drama ko.

"Sinasabi mo? You, Miss Josefa, you are perfectly fine.." he said and kissed me in the cheeks.

"I told you, not to call me Josefa. Titigas ng ulo mo!" I complained.

"Maria Imelda, Imee, Josefa, Remedios, whoever, I'm still thankful.." he muttered.

"For what?" I ask and scrunched my nose.

"For giving me another chance.." he replied.

"Well, you better not mess this up, Mayor Duterte.." I forcefully let him go, and laid my hands on my waist.

"I won't, Governor Imee.." he replied and once again, kissed me on the forehead.

"Let me fix your tie.." I offered.

"Buti pa, nas-stress na ako dito." he complained as he gave me the tie.

"Kalalaki mong tao, di ka marunong mag-tali.." I replied as I tied it.

I immediately finished tying, and just stared at him as he stared back. Awkward, na may halong kilig at the same time.

"Manang! Ikaw na sunod!" I heard Irene call me from outside.

"I have to go - I need to glam up, see you later!" I hurriedly said as I went out of the room. Baka gawin na naman akong chismis, ng aking beautiful sister.

A few minutes later, I finally got my hair and make-up done, I just chose a natural look and a bun for my hair. Since nothing formal naman, just the same old family affair. I attached my sleeves and went down, I then saw Rodrigo in the living room patiently waiting.

"Where's everyone?" I ask.

"Dun nasa venue na.." he replied.

"Malilintikan talaga ko yun silang lahat. Nang-iiwan.." I complained.
