Jason strutted forward. He had a feeling what his animagus form was going to be, but he didn't want to spoil it just in case. He waited until he was given the potion, and he gulped it down. He tasted warm brownies, freshly made from the New Rome bakery. He had almost forgotten this taste.
Lightning flashed, extra bright for the son of Jupiter.
He felt a burst of energy in his chest, and he fell right into it. His body shrunk, just as Annabeth's had. His skin turned to feathers. His mouth curved into a shark beak, and his arms were stretched out. He called out a caw of victory, and switched back to human form.
"I knew it", literally all the demigods said at once. Jason shrugged.
"Golden boy here, I have expectations to maintain".
McGonagall looked at her list of last names, and called up the golden boy's sister.
"GRACE, THALIA".
