Hazel was nervous about finding out what animal she was going to be. The closest she had ever felt to an animal was Arion, but Nico and Percy were already horse animals, and she didn't know if there would be another. She took the potion, and she looked up for a second. Then she chugged it down. The entire potion, in 2 seconds. A crack of thunder, and she began to feel what the others felt as well.
Hazel kept it in for a second, not sure if her animal was going to be something she didn't like. Then she realized. It doesn't matter what animal she is, as long as she could do something with it. She let it go, and the transformations began. Just as Percy and Nico had, her face grew longer, and her arms and legs grew longer as well. She changed back to her human form. She never got wings, or a horn, but she was a horse. She walked back giddily, practically skipping.
"I knew it", Frank said, a smile on his face.
"What else could she be, her spirit animal is literally a horse", Leo said
"Hush", from Annabeth, once again. They listened for the next name. Finally, it was called.
"MCLEAN, PIPER".
