(Y/n) sighed for the hundredth time, occasionally glancing at Izana and Kakucho, who were lazily hanging around the counter where she was at.
The two surprised her when they came in and just decided to stay around the (h/c)-ette without a word. She wasn't sure what it is they want, but it certainly can't be good.
"What are you doing? Aren't you busy with Tenjiku? Do you really have all this free time to waste?" She asked, going to lift up boxes till Kakucho took them from her.
Izana looked at her, his expression blank. He smiled at her, "Is our company that bad, Queen?" He held back a chuckle when she glared at him.
"I don't trust you." (Y/n) bluntly said, "And this is my job, not a fucking hangout for your crew." She grumbled, placing the cleaning supplies on the shelves.
Kakucho smirked at her wit, "We didn't bring our crew, just the two of us." He replied, watching her with his dual eyes.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, "Yeah, right." She mumbled under her breath. "Why are you even here? You're scaring my customers away." She gestured to the poor teenage boy who took one look at them and booked it.
Kakucho chuckled nervously, "Sorry." He bashfully rubbed the back of his head.
Izana shrugged. He could care less about some guy. As long as they stay away from her then all is good.
The two boys watched (Y/n) silently as she worked around the store doing different things. They wondered if she was the only employee working in the store. Nonetheless, she'd make a perfect housewife.
"Are you the only one here?" Kakucho asked, his curiosity getting the best of him.
Nodding her head, she replied, "Yea. My shift usually starts at nine in the morning and I finish off work at two. Someone else comes in and then takes my place. On rare occasions though, I do work the night shift."
Night shift? Both Kakucho and Izana shifted on their feet, a contemplating look on their face. Night time was the most dangerous because that's when most gangs roam the streets, preying on victims.
"What?" (Y/n) asked, noticing their look.
Izana narrowed his eyes, stalking closer to her. He backed her up into the counter, towering over her body, "Quit." He demanded, glaring at her.
Scoffing, (Y/n) gave him an incredulous look, "Excuse me!? I work this job for a living, you can't just tell me to quit!" Well, she could...and simply use her rumor to have a lavish life, but that's not honest living.
Kakucho decided to step in, "Izana, (Y/n) is right. We don't hold no power in her life. We can't force her to quit her job." He reasoned. Izana glared at him but said nothing.
"Whatever." He grumbled, storming out the store. Kakucho and (Y/n) stared at in disbelief and confusion.
"I apologize for his action." Kakucho apologized, rubbing the back of his head bashfully, red hues on his cheeks. This was the first time he's been alone with a girl.
"S'alright." She waved it off, reaching underneath to counter to grab a cookie and give it to him, "Enjoy." The male awkwardly took it, nodding at her. She watched as he left with a smile.
