Kantou Manji Arc Part 5

2 Weeks Later....

Ever since the conflict with the three deities and Draken's miraculous recovery, Takemichi was now determined. He originally didn't want to get his friends involved anymore ever since the incident but after talking with Hinata, he knew there was no way to beat Mikey all by himself. He needed a team.

The first person he asked was Chifuyu, who wholeheartedly agreed and resigned from the pet store. The new gang name was called 'Thousand Winters.' The blonde undercut had the condition to name it and create the uniform, which was an ugly T-shirt.

The next person Takemichi asked was (Y/n). He personally wanted to speak to her in privacy. "(Y/n)-chan, thank you so much for saving Draken-kun." The two were walking down the sidewalk.

"It was no problem." (Y/n) waved her hand dismissively.

Takemichi shook his head in refusal, "Your power is incredible, (Y/n)-chan. Unlike me, you managed to save our friends more than what I did." He looked down.

"You give yourself little credit, Takemichy. You did a lot too. I'd say all your efforts are slowly paying off." (Y/n) patted his head, making him smile softly.

"As you know, my only goal is to defeat Mikey-kun, which is why I formed a new gang, and I want you to join." Takemichi told her, his eyes shining with hope.

Chuckling, (Y/n) put her arms behind her head, "You needn't ask, Takemichy. I would join in a heartbeat." She said, causing the crybaby blonde to smile at her gratefully with tears in his eyes.

"Arigato!"

"What about the others?" She then asked, the two sitting on a bench in the park.

"Chifuyu, Hakkai, Pah, Peh, Draken, Kazutora and Baji have agreed so far. I still have to meet Mitsuya and ask him." Takemichi counted his fingers as he names person after person joined in his new gang. He looked at her, "I was wondering if you can maybe ask Shinichiro-kun and Izana to join as well, since you're pretty close to them."

(Y/n) stretched her legs, looking up at the sky, "Sure. I think they'll be honored to join and get a chance to talk to Mikey." She surmised, sighing.

Once Takemichi left, (Y/n) was all by herself in the park. She got up, moving to the swing set and sitting down, kicking her feet back and forth gently. The wind caressed her hair as she swung.

In the corner of her eye, she spotted a familiar figure approaching her and taking the swing next to hers, watching as she slowed down before coming to a stop. "..... I didn't expect you to be here, Koko."

The snake-eyed male stuck his tongue out, a smirk on his lips. "Miss me, baby?" He purred in his sultry voice. His eyes took in her appearance greedily.

"What do you want?" She went straight to the point. If a Kantou Manji executive approaches, it's an obvious sign that they need you for something or want you to join.

Koko had a serious expression, "Come to Kantou Manji, you belong with us." He said, eyeing her.

Right on the dot.

(Y/n) gave him a disbelief look, "Why would I join your gang? If I'm not mistaken, Mikey clearly has shown he didn't need us or want nothing to do with us." She pointed out.

"Then what was the whole thing with you and him during the three deities fight?" Koko remarked. He witnessed the entire thing along with everyone else present. To him, it didn't seem like Mikey was done with her yet. Far from it.

(Y/n) clutched the metal straps holding the swing together, "I only did that to stop Mikey from killing South." She paused, choosing her words carefully, "Mikey is a lot of things, but I would never want him to be a murderer." She finished, her eyes lidded as she looked ahead of her, seemingly at nothing, as if lost in her thoughts.
