"Fucking' hell, baby," Hanma grunts, lashes fluttering as he tries to open his eyes only to squeeze them shut again, when he meets the searing early morning light coming through the window. "Do we have get up already? It's too early for this. Let's go back to sleep." He tried to convince (Y/n) by tugging her back into the bed and rolling over so he was slightly on top of her, his arms encasing her, head on her chest.

"It's past seven, Shuji," (Y/n) sighed, running her fingers through his hair. His brows crease together as she continues, chuckling time-to-time when he lets out a huff or tries to bring her hand back on top of his head when she pulls away. "You look cute when you're sleepy." She mumbled to herself, but he grinned, hearing her words.

"Cute, huh? I'm manly, dear." He remarked, snuggling more into his girlfriend.

Hanma knows he isn't normal—not that it isn't obvious, anyone who knows him from one meeting knows he lives a life that's anything but normal. He doesn't have things he actually cares about.
Not a family, not a friend, not a dream, and certainly not a lover. Hanma shuji has himself, and that's it.

For the longest time, that was okay. That was how it was supposed to be. That was how it was always meant to be. He was a loner. He only needed the thrill and excitement in his life and Kisaki was the first to give it to him. He lived for that kind of life because everything else was boring or too dull for him. He liked the risk. He liked the danger. He liked the fear and the consequences. Hanma Shuji was danger himself.

He doesn't need petty things like love or friendship, but (Y/n) makes him crave them and wanting something has always been easy for him. He can always just take, he's used to taking things like he owned them because he can and because no one can oppose him and tell him no.

But he can't take (Y/n)'s affection—he has to earn it, and he doesn't remember the last time he's ever earned anything fair and square.

So he watches from afar as she smiles at the people she cares about, give them a soft look and laugh at their jokes and have a good time, and he sees red. He's never letting another person that ever looks at her with heart eyes live to see the sunrise one more day.

(Y/n) continuously tapped his bare back, "Shuji! Let's not waste the day, we could be doing lots of stuff today!" She argued.

Hanma ignored her.

"Shuji!"

"Hm...what's there to do, babe?" He released her with a chuckle, moving onto his back with his arms crossed behind his head watching as she sat up and stretched with a sigh.

(Y/n) turned to him with a frown, "Like....going on a date or seeing the others or going to a skate park." She listed off ideas one by one as she counted with her fingers like a child.

Hanma groaned, grabbing a pillow and chucking it over his face, "I'd rather do anything than see them." His voice was muffled but still audible.

The pillow was removed and he was met with (Y/n)'s face hovering over his, "Skate park it is then." She grinned, hopping out of bed and walking into the bathroom.

Hanma whined, covering his head with the sheets, "Can't we just stay in bed?"

"NO!"

Once they finished breakfast (Y/n) had made which was toast with avocado slices sprinkled with black pepper, the two were out her house in no time.

Getting onto Hanma's bike, she wrapped her arms around his torso as he started the engine, kicking up the stand and driving on the street. The skate park was a bit far from where they were but with the speed they were going, they reached there in no time.
