Bonten Arc Part 6 🎴

All night (y/n), baji, draken, kazutora and mitsuya couldn't sleep at all. Their minds were restless from the events prior. It was quite the shocker to them all but it wasn't that surprising considering mikey has changed since his departure from their lives, but they never expected for the short male to come back and try to take (y/n) from them as if he was entitled to her very being.

Because of this, they decide to inform the others immediately, which now brings the current present.

shinichiro, emma and the others were in the living room having a serious discussion about (y/n)'s almost kidnapping. (y/n) had also told taiju and hanma since she didn't want them to be left out from the loop even though she didn't have to, but she figured they would eventually find out and come barging into her house uninvited and demand answers.

(y/n) comes out of baji's kitchen with a steaming cup of tea in her hands, a weary look on her face. She takes a sip, sighing in relaxation as she settles down on the couch where the others are.

"I never would have expected mikey to do something like this, i thought he knows better than to treat women like objects." The older sano had a grave expression on his face. He was still in shock when he received the call from draken briefly explaining to come over and that it was an emergency.

He had no idea what was going on but he was stunned to see everyone else arrive as well, probably getting the same message. It was chaotic as everyone demanded answers, wondering what was happening.

emma scowls, but she couldn't help but feel sorrow for her brother, "i know deep in my heart mikey would never see women like that," she pauses, a solemn look on her face, "but after trying to kidnap (y/n) last night...I don't know anymore." She rubs her arm.

chifuyu looks at (y/n), a frown on his face, "so you knew mikey was following you? why didn't you tell us." They dart their eyes to the girl.

(y/n) sighs, she looks at them carefully, "he sent one of his men to tail me. I didn't know how to tell you because i was afraid how you'd react. I know talking about mikey is a sore subject for everyone which is why i kept it to myself." She puts her cup down, crossing her legs, "the bigger question is why does he want me?...he went through all that trouble just to get me to come to him, but why?" She asks no one in particular.

everyone fell silent, unsure what to say.

draken clenches his teeth, remembering the dull look mikey gave him. Despite being a former vice commander, he still wasn't on par to bonten's leader. So even if a fight broke out, he was sure he'll probably be knocked to the ground.

ken-chin. What was once a nickname based on innocent friendship was now meaningless. It held nothing but malice and sinisterly feelings, spoken by his former best friend.

"It's like I told takemichi, mikey is not the same guy we once knew. He's changed." draken begun, sweat sliding down his face, fists clenched tightly, "if anything, he feels more dangerous than before." He speaks lowly.

The others felt shivers run down their spine at his words.

takemichi shoots up from his seat, shaking his head in denial, "you're wrong!! mikey-kun would never harm us or (y/n)-chan!" He yells, tears shrouding his eyes, "it can't be...." he shakes, holding back his emotions. He doesn't want to believe mikey has turned...evil.

The others look at him with pity, unable to say anything. What can they say? Even they knew mikey has had his dark moments even back in toman. No one would've suspected it would've grown this bad though.
