"So? What do you think?"
Mitsuya was busy all week that he hadn't had time to go a date with (Y/n). He internally kicked himself for letting work get in the way but this was important. It was something he was working on for quite some time now.
He honestly felt like a bad boyfriend. He was juggling his sewing career while taking care of his baby sisters and maintaining a relationship on the get-go. It rendered him to make a schedule to fit everything so he can have time for all three.
He didn't want (Y/n) to leave him for being an incompetent boyfriend. He worked too hard to get her to notice him and even harder once she was picked him. He was courting her.
(Y/n) was not upset. She knew Mitsuya had talent. He was capable of reaching new heights in the designer field and she was sure in no time he would definitely get recognized for all his hard-work and effort.
She even understood that he had family to take care of and did her best to be a good girlfriend and try to help him with his siblings—Luna and Mana. When she had time or when she wasn't working at the convenience store she would babysit the girls while Mitsuya was working.
Mitsuya was very thankful and grateful at the same time. He was thankful that (Y/n) was helping him with his siblings even if she didn't have to and she was probably busy with her own life. He was also grateful that his sister adored the woman he loved and already began to treat her as a sister. Usually they would not like any girl who approaches him—often calling them annoying or stuck-up.
Once he was finally finished with his project. He called his girlfriend over to his house, anxious of her reaction, "well?"
(Y/n) stared in awe at the long beaded lavender gown. The ends trailed off in a sort of cape and there was a v-neck but not too deep. It was flattering. "It's beautiful." She stuttered out, mouth agape.
Mitsuya cleared his throat, looking away with reddened cheeks, "ya think so?" He asked, smiling when she nodded sincerely. "Uhm...it's for you, actually."
Surprised, she darted her eyes to him, "for me?" He nodded.
"Yeah," he scratched his neck, "I was working on it all week nonstop so I apologize for missing out on our dates." He felt guilty.
(Y/n) instantly shook her head, an understanding smile on her face, "it's alright." She told him, going back to the dress and inspecting it, "honestly, you're very talented, Taka-chan." She praised.
Mitsuya grinned bashfully, "I'm still a work-in-progress." He told her, touching the dress as he came to stand beside her.
