- June 16th, Wednesday, New York City -

It was already past noon when Jia woke up in a heated room. The pain from her empty gut was her wake-up alarm. Her head still held that dull pain but it wasn't so bad - she took the medicine right after her call with Bang Chan and was asleep ever since then. The sound that her stomach made was a reminder that she only had airplane food.

Jia sat up carefully and turned on the AC. The cool air stream relaxed her from the heat in the room and she noticed that she could breathe easier. With the hot air of the room and her empty stomach, Jia felt light-headed so she decided to take a shower and then go have something to eat.

Shower thoughts came streaming just like the water from the shower head.

Her feelings for Bang Chan were mixed because of the call - she felt nice when he worried for her but still had to be cautious of him as there was no way he would forgive her that easily for the mess she dragged him into (just because she fainted).

A knock on the door came just as she was putting her hair up, and getting dressed in her casual clothes after the shower. Jia opened the door and a hotel porter greeted her.

"Hello, miss Jia," the young man said, handing her an envelope, "I was ordered to deliver this to you personally," she took the envelope and he excused himself with a slight bow.

She closed the door and opened the envelope with her full name written on it (in English cursive, wow). Her eyes widened when she saw a SKZ concert ticket. There was a folded piece of paper behind it so she opened it and read the short message.

"Hope you're feeling better.
See you at the concert tonight.

Bang Chan"

She read the letter (which was handwritten by Chan himself, in English) and sat on the bed, feeling a little tingle in her stomach. Was this an act of kindness? Or did the letter hold a deeper meaning?

A part of her recognized an order between those words, and knowing how Chan can be scary, she had to attend the concert, there was no way she'd do anything different from what he wrote now that she was practically in his territory.

So, again... No matter the caring phone call at 4 AM, his giggles coming through the phone, and her stomach warming up on those thoughts, Jia had to be cautious.

...

Jia went down to the hotel restaurant and ordered something that'll be light on her stomach. She took a seat, ate her first meal of the day, and while drinking a cup of tea, Jia scrolled the internet, doing her research about the concert venue.

Searching for the seat number that was written on the ticket, she found out that it was located in the first row, right in front of the stage, so one major question was now on her mind: what to wear?

She googled "k-pop concert outfit ideas" and there were a lot of different combinations yet they were all in different styles regarding the seating - standing or sitting, pit or higher levels - and the concert theme. Some were even inspired by idols' outfits from the MVs or different stages, the album designs, and just good ol' black and white combos.

Jia wasn't very fashionable, she liked to dress in clothes that made her feel comfortable and wore dresses only at formal parties. She didn't want to dress up crazy and stand out but since her seat was in the front row, directly in front of the stage, she had to work a little harder... Especially since Bang Chan will most likely notice, and if he sees her dressed in plain baggy clothes or (god forbid) sweat wear, there might be trouble.
