Finding Your Part 4, Chapter 1 - At the Quartermaine
Genevieve, Skylar, and Lila Rae were eating chocolate pancakes with Alan.
"Grandfather, can we see Mother after school?" Skylar asks.
"Your father called me last night. He doesn't want you to go to school today," Alan said.
"That is unfair! I just started a new school," Genevieve said.
"It's just for the rest of the week. I will take you to get your homework," Alan said.
"Yes, Grandfather," Genevieve said.
"Can we see Mother soon?" Lila Rae asks.
"Yes, Skylar and Lila Rae, why don't you go get ready?" Alan asks.
Skylar and Lila Rae leave.
"Genevieve, do you want to talk?" Alan asks.
"I'm glad Mother is fine. I would miss her," Genevieve said.
"I know you love her," Alan said.
"I wish I could say those words, but I can't," Genevieve said.
Alan had a candy jar on the table full of Hershey kisses.
"There are other ways to say I love you—by showing it and giving Hershey kisses," Alan said as he gives Genevieve one.
"Thank you, Grandfather," Genevieve said.
Skylar and Lila Rae come in.
"Let's go see your mother," Alan said.
At General Hospital—Skye's room—Lorenzo was watching Skye sleep when she woke up.
"Lorenzo, were you here all night?" Skye asks.
"Yes, I can't leave you, Skye. I love you," Lorenzo said.
"I love you too," Skye said.
"I will find Faith and keep you safe," Lorenzo said.
"I know you will," Skye said. They share a kiss as the girls come in.
"My girls," Skye says.
Lila Rae and Skylar come by Skye and hug her while Genevieve stays by the door.
"Oh my babies, I'm glad to see you. I love you," Skye said.
"We love you too, Mother. We are glad you're okay," Lila Rae said.
"Yes, we are," Skylar said.
"Genevieve, come here," Skye said.
"Genevieve," Lorenzo said.
Genevieve goes to Skye.
"Mother, I'm glad you're okay," Genevieve said.
"Thanks. So, did you have a nice morning with Grandfather?" Skye asks.
"Yes, we had chocolate pancakes for breakfast," Genevieve said.
"Sugar and carbs— a great breakfast," Skye said.
"They were good," Genevieve said.
"I'm sure," Skye said.
"Do you have any questions about Luis?" Lorenzo asks.
"How long will he be gone?" Lila Rae asks.
"I'm not sure yet. The hospital won't let us see him yet," Lorenzo said.
"But he's going to get better," Skye said.
"Yes," Skylar said as Alan comes in.
"Girls, why don't I take you to get something to drink?" Lorenzo said.
"I love you, Skylar, Lila Rae, and Genevieve," Skye said.
"I love you too," Skylar and Lila Rae say.
"I love you, Mother," Lila Rae says.
"Genevieve, when someone says it, you say it back," Skye said.
Genevieve pulls out a Hershey kiss and gives it to her mother.
"Oh, Genevieve, why can't you say it? You did once," Skye said.
"I was scared I would die," Genevieve said.
Skye places her hands on Genevieve's face.
"I'm worried about you," Skye said.
"Don't," Genevieve said as she leaves with Lorenzo and her sisters.
"Oh Daddy, what's going on with my baby?" Skye asks.
"Genevieve is just scared of saying it, that's all," Alan said.
"Yeah. Anyway, so you know Faith was alive?" Skye asks.
"Yes, Skye. I helped Faith fake her death," Alan said.
"Why?" Skye asks.
"She's my daughter. I want a chance with her," Alan said.
"She shot me," Skye said.
"We don't know if it was Faith yet. Lorenzo has a lot of enemies," Alan said.
"If it's Faith, it's not my husband's fault I was shot," Skye said.
"Skye, I'm glad you're right," Alan said.
"I understand why you want to save Faith, I do, but still," Skye said.
"I know," Alan said.
"Well, Luis will be okay. I'm worried about him," Skye said.
"I don't know. I haven't looked at his chart," Alan said.
"I hope he gets better. I didn't see any signs," Skye said.
"I know. I think it was you getting shot that scared him," Alan said.
"Yeah," Skye said.
"What is with the Hershey kisses?" Skye asks, picking one up.
"I told Genevieve that if she didn't want to say I love you, there are other ways—like giving someone a Hershey kiss," Alan said.
"Oh," Skye said.
In the hallway—Skylar, Genevieve, and Lila Rae were sitting on the couch while Lorenzo was talking to Dr. Collins.
"How is my son?" Lorenzo asks.
"I have put him on some medication that will help him," Dr. Collins says.
"Can I see him?" Lorenzo asks.
"Not today. I know it's scary, but Luis will get better, I believe it," Dr. Collins said.
"Thank you," Lorenzo said.
Dr. Collins leaves, and Lorenzo goes to his daughter.
"Girls, I know you want to go to school, but not today," Lorenzo said. He helps the girls put on their coats and is about to help Genevieve when she stops him.
"I can do it. I want to go back tomorrow," Genevieve said.
"I know, Genevieve. I asked Jamie to come and pick you up and take you to the hotel for lunch," Lorenzo said.
"Why can't we go to Kelly's?" Genevieve asks.
"Because I say so," Lorenzo said.
Jamie comes by.
"Jamie, take the girls to the hotel for lunch. Put it on my bill—and no junk food and milk for all the girls," Lorenzo said.
"Yes, sir," Jamie said.
"Girls, I love you," Lorenzo said.
"I love you too, Daddy. Luis will get better," Lila Rae said.
"Yes, he will. We love you," Skylar said.
"Genevieve," Lorenzo said.
"Bye," Genevieve said and leaves.
