Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 75 - "Stand Up for Your Sister"
At Carly's house, Carly and Morgan entered. "Morgan, you are grounded for the rest of the week—no TV or video games. All you're to do is homework," Carly said. "Yes, Mother," Morgan replied. "Do you understand that what you did was wrong?" Carly asked. "No, I was standing up for my sister, and I will do it again," Morgan answered. "Josslyn is going to be upset with you. She likes Luis, and you can't tell her who she should or shouldn't like," Carly explained. "Luis Jr. isn't good enough for Josslyn," Morgan said as Josslyn came in. "Morgan, Mother, what's going on?" Josslyn asked. "Morgan, tell your sister what you did," Carly urged. "Luis Jr. and I got into a fight. I told him to stay away from you," Morgan admitted. "Why would you do that? You have no right," Josslyn yelled. "I was looking out for you," Morgan defended. "What else did you say?" Josslyn asked. "That Luis belongs in a mental hospital," Morgan said. "Morgan, if I lose Luis because of this, I will hate you!" Josslyn exclaimed. "Stop, both of you. What Morgan did was wrong, but in a way, he was trying to do the right thing by standing up for his sister," Carly intervened. "Did you get in trouble?" Josslyn asked. "Yes, I was suspended," Morgan responded. "Good. Was Luis hurt?" Josslyn asked. "No," Morgan confirmed.
At Skye and Lorenzo's house—the sunroom upstairs—Genevieve and Luis Jr. were dusting. "Luis, are you okay?" Genevieve asked. "Yes," Luis Jr. replied. Genevieve picked up a vase that Skye loved. "Luis, throw this; it will make you feel better," Genevieve suggested. "No, that's mother's favorite vase," Luis Jr. said. "It's just a vase. Come on, do it," Genevieve urged. "No," Luis Jr. refused. "Fine, I will," Genevieve said, throwing the vase, which broke into two pieces. "It feels so good to break things," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, you'll get in trouble for that," Luis Jr. warned. "I don't care," Genevieve replied as Lorenzo entered and saw the broken glass. "What is going on? How did that vase break?" Lorenzo asked Genevieve and Luis. They shared a look. "I broke it, Father, when I was dusting. I'm sorry; I will replace it," Luis Jr. said. "You can't replace it; I bought it for your mother in Italy," Lorenzo stated. "It was an accident," Genevieve added. "I believe your brother. Pick up the glass, Luis, tell your mother, and then wait in your room for me to come," Lorenzo ordered. "Yes, Father," Luis Jr. responded. Lorenzo left. "Luis, why did you do that? Daddy is going to spank you," Genevieve worried. "No, Father won't do that. You're my little sister, and it's my job to keep you safe," Luis Jr. said, and they shared a hug.
At the Burn Center—Alan's room—Alan was lying in bed when Tracy entered. "Alan, how are you doing?" Tracy asked. "I'm getting better. How is Skye?" Alan inquired. "Skye is good; I've been looking out for her," Tracy replied. "Thank you," Alan said. "You won't believe what Kate Howard did. She pretended to be Chloe to sell some jeans, so we're suing her," Tracy added. "Wow," Alan responded. "Yes, we hope to buy her company," Tracy said. "Who will run it?" Alan asked. "Skye, once she gets better," Tracy answered. "Does Skye want it?" Alan wondered. "I think so. AJ's talking to her," Tracy explained. "Oh, Tracy, thank you," Alan said. "You're welcome. Now, get better—we need you," Tracy encouraged. "I will," Alan assured.
In Skye and Lorenzo's house—Skye's room—Skye was reading her magazine when Luis entered with a bag of broken glass. "Mother, I'm sorry I broke the vase. I was dusting, and it was an accident," Luis Jr. explained. "Oh, Luis," Skye said. "Please don't be upset," Luis Jr. pleaded. "I'm not," Skye replied. Lorenzo came in. "Luis, go to your room," Lorenzo ordered. Luis looked at his parents and then went upstairs. "Lorenzo, I believe it was an accident," Skye said. "I don't think so, Skye. I think Genevieve broke it, and Luis is covering for her," Lorenzo suspected. "What are you going to do?" Skye asked. "I'm hoping to get the truth out of them," Lorenzo replied. Skylar and Lila Rae entered. "Girls, how was school?" Skye asked. "Good," Skylar said. "It was okay. Where is Luis?" Lila Rae inquired. "Luis is upstairs; he got into a fight with Morgan at school," Lorenzo answered. "I heard," Lila Rae said. "You didn't hear the whole story, did you? Morgan started it," Lorenzo added. "I hope I can still see Morgan," Lila Rae said. "Lila Rae, you can do better. Now, I need to talk to your brother," Lorenzo said. He left. "Lila Rae, I can go to your piano recital," Skye offered. "That's great, mother," Lila Rae responded. "Yes," Skye agreed.
