Finding You Part 4, Chapter 67—
The Next Day—Lorenzo and Skye were having breakfast with their children, Lila Rae, Luis Jr., and Skylar, who was dressed for the day and ready for school, when Genevieve came down and sat down. "Genevieve, just because you are not going to school this week, doesn't mean you can sleep in," Lorenzo said. "Yes, Daddy, I'm sorry," Genevieve said. "It's okay," Lorenzo replied. The maid came in. "Ms. Genevieve, your cream of wheat," she said. "Do I have to have the cream of wheat today?" Genevieve asked. "What do you want then?" Skye asked. "Strawberry yogurt and juice, that's it, please," Genevieve said. "Alright," Skye responded. "I will get it for you. We have a new kind of yogurt that you will like; it's made with almond milk," the maid said before leaving. "Lorenzo, can you take me to the bathroom, please?" Skye asked. "Sure," Lorenzo said, helping Skye up and walking her to the bathroom. "So, Genevieve, whose idea was it to cheat on a test?" Skylar asked, hoping to get the truth out of her sister. The maid came back in with the yogurt. "It was both of ours," Genevieve admitted. "Really?" Skylar asked. "Yes, Skylar, I know what you're up to," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, just tell the truth for once," Lila Rae said. "Lila Rae is right; it will make it easier on you," Skylar added. "No, it won't. It was my idea, okay?" Genevieve said. "Oh, Genevieve," Skylar said. "You all need to keep your mouths shut," Genevieve responded. "Why did Alexander do it?" Skylar asked. "Alexander told me he loves me, and I told him to prove it and help me pass the test," Genevieve explained. "Ginny, just tell Daddy and Mom; you won't be in trouble more than you are," Skylar suggested. "Listen to Skylar," Luis Jr. said. "Ginny, you know I'm right. I always tell you the truth," Skylar said, kissing her sister on the cheek as Skye and Lorenzo entered. "Is everything okay?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes," Genevieve replied, eating some of her yogurt. "Luis, Lila Rae, Skylar, have a good day at school," Lorenzo said. "Yes, we love you," Skye said. Luis went to his mother. "I love you too, Mom," Luis Jr. said. "I love you too, Luis," Skye responded. "Come on, I will take you to school," Lorenzo said. "Alright, Ginny, do the right thing," Skylar said and left with Lorenzo.

Bobbie came in and helped Skye get up. "Thanks, Bobbie. I want to send you on the couch. Genevieve, come join me," Skye said. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve replied as she sat down beside Skye. "Mother, what is it?" Genevieve asked. "What were you talking about with your brothers and sisters?" Skye inquired. "Nothing," Genevieve replied. "Genevieve, whose idea was it to cheat?" Skye asked. "It was both of ours. I will not say anything more about this," Genevieve responded. "Your father and I will not get upset if you tell us the truth," Skye said. "I can't," Genevieve replied. "Then go get dressed," Skye replied. "I will. Mother, I have to get a book today for school," Genevieve said. "You don't have the book?" Skye asked. "No," Genevieve answered. "What book is it?" Skye asked. "Flowers in the Attic," Genevieve said. "You have to read that book?" Skye asked. "Yes. Why is it a bad book?" Genevieve asked. "It's not appropriate for someone your age," Skye replied as Lorenzo entered. "What is going on?" Lorenzo asked. "I was just telling mom I have to read a book for school, *Flowers in the Attic*, and for some reason, mom doesn't want me to read it. It can't be that bad," Genevieve said. "Do you know what it's about?" Lorenzo asked. "A flower in the attic?" Genevieve asked. "No, it's not. It's kind of scary," Skye said. "I will not get scared," Genevieve said. "I don't think you should read it either. Can you pick out another book?" Lorenzo asked. "No, please. The kids already treat me like a baby," Genevieve said. "Alright, go get dressed; we're going out," Lorenzo said. "Where?" Genevieve asked. "To my coffee shop, and then we'll get you a book," Lorenzo replied. "Thanks, Daddy," Genevieve said. "Your mother is coming too?" Lorenzo asked. "It's okay," Genevieve asked. "Yes, it is," Skye said. Genevieve went upstairs.

"Skye, what do you think?" Lorenzo asked. "I don't think she read it either, but we can't stop her. It's for school," Skye replied. "Yes, it is," Lorenzo agreed. Genevieve came down wearing a dress and holding her leopard-print coat. "When we come back, can I walk Charles?" Genevieve asked. "Yes," Skye replied. "Can I get some hot chocolate at the shop, Daddy?" Genevieve asked. "Sure," Lorenzo said, helping Skye into a wheelchair. "Let's go," Lorenzo announced as they left.
