Finding You Part 4, Chapter 49
— At General Hospital — Skye's Room — Skye was awake when Lorenzo and Genevieve entered. "Mother, you're going to be okay. Daddy will get the best doctors," Genevieve said. "Yes, I will," Lorenzo replied. "Genevieve, I'm glad you're here," Skye said. "Me too," Genevieve said. "Lorenzo, can you check on Rae?" Skye asked. "Sure, come on, Genevieve," Lorenzo said. "I want to stay with Mother," Genevieve said. "Alright," Lorenzo replied and left. "Genevieve, come into bed with me," Skye said. "I don't want to hurt you," Genevieve said. "You will not," Skye assured her. Genevieve climbed into bed with Skye. "Mother promises me I won't lose you," Genevieve said. "You will not lose me," Skye replied. "Good, because I love you," Genevieve said. "Oh, baby," Skye said, kissing her cheek.
In Rae's room — Rae woke up as Lorenzo entered. "Lorenzo," Rae said. "Rae, Skye asked me to check on you. How are you?" Lorenzo asked. "Tell me what's going on," Rae said. "You, Alan, and Skye had burns from the fire," Lorenzo explained. "Oh," Rae said. Patrick then entered. "Rae, you're awake," Patrick said. "Yes, how am I?" Rae asked. "You're going to recover. There's a great place in the city that specializes in burn victims," Patrick said. "Does my insurance cover it?" Rae asked. "Rae, don't worry. I'll help in any way I can," Lorenzo said. "Why?" Rae asked. "For Skye," Lorenzo replied. "Alright, how long will it take?" Rae asked. "We don't know," Robin said.
In the hallway — Tracy and Monica were talking. "Tracy, what do you want? I'm kind of busy," Monica said. "Monica, I know you don't want to be away from Alan, but I think this hospital is the best place for him," Tracy said. "What do you know about it?" Monica asked as Ned approached. "Monica, I looked it up. It's a good place," Ned said. "I know about this hospital. I just can't be away from Alan," Monica replied. "You can go with him," Ned suggested. Monica then went into Alan's room. "Alan, Robin thinks you should go to the hospital in the city. What do you think?" Monica asked. "Yes," Alan said. "Alright, I will go with you," Monica said. "Really?" Alan asked. "Yes, I love you," Monica said. "I love you too," Alan replied.
In Skye's room — Genevieve was asleep in Skye's bed. Lorenzo entered. "Genevieve, wake up," Lorenzo said. "No, let her sleep. She told me she loves me," Skye said. "I'm happy for you," Lorenzo said. "Thanks. How is my mother?" Skye asked. "Rae needs to go to a hospital in the city to recover," Lorenzo said. "Oh, is she?" Skye asked. "Yes, I'm going to arrange that," Lorenzo said. "Thank you," Skye replied. "You're welcome," Lorenzo said. "I wish Rae didn't have to go alone," Skye said. "I know, but you can't," Lorenzo replied. "No," Skye agreed. Robin then entered. "Robin, how bad is it?" Skye asked. "You will be in the hospital for a while, but you will recover here," Robin said. "Good. What about Rae? Will she be okay at that hospital?" Skye asked. "Yes, Rae will recover, and so will Alan," Robin replied. "Good," Skye said.
