Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 28 -
At the Quartermaine
Alan entered with Genevieve and her bags. "Alice, can you set up a room for Genevieve? She's going to stay here for a while," Alan said. "Forever," Genevieve added. "Sure, I will set one up for you," Alice replied. "Why don't you go with Alice? I have to go back to the hospital," Alan suggested. "Alright, where is everyone else?" Genevieve asked. "Monica's at the hospital, and Tracy is at the office. It's just you and Alice here," Alan explained. "Oh, when will you be back?" Genevieve asked. "Not until late. I don't want you staying up late," Alan replied. "I won't, Grandfather," Genevieve assured him. "Good. We can talk in the morning," Alan said and then left, heading into the hallway. "So, it's just us," Genevieve commented. "Yes, I will be up to help you get your room ready," Alice said. "Thanks, Alice," Genevieve responded. She went upstairs and into the hallway. "So, Dr. Quartermaine, what's going on?" Alice asked. "Genevieve thinks she wants to live with her. I do want my granddaughter to live here, but I know Skye will miss her," Alan explained. "Sure, I will play along," Alice said. "Thanks," Alan responded.
Genevieve selected the blue room and looked around as Alice entered. "Your mother used to stay in this room," Alice said. "When?" Genevieve asked. "Before she married your father," Alice replied. "Oh, the big mistake," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, I know your mother will miss you," Alice said. "Yeah," Genevieve responded. "Do you want to talk?" Alice asked. "No, thanks. I'm hungry though," Genevieve said. "Sure, we can get a snack," Alice replied.
At Skye/Lorenzo's, in Skye's room, Skye was in her daughter's room, picking up some clothes from the bed as Lorenzo entered. "Skye," Lorenzo said. "Please, Lorenzo, fix this! Bring my daughter home," Skye pleaded. "You know our daughter is stubborn; she isn't going to give in this easily," Lorenzo pointed out. "True, she got it from both of us," Skye admitted. "Yes," Lorenzo agreed. "I guess at least she's at the mansion," Skye said. "Yes," Lorenzo responded. "I just hope she comes home soon," Skye sighed. "Me too. I just don't think Genevieve should be with Alexander," Lorenzo said. "She was already hurt with Alexander kissing Josslyn and then this," Skye added. "I know, I blew it," Lorenzo admitted. "Yes, you did," Skye agreed.
Back at the Quartermaine estate, Genevieve was in the den, looking at family pictures. She picked up a photo of Skye holding a baby girl as Alice entered. "Who is that baby my mother is holding?" Genevieve asked. "That's you," Alice said. "How do you know it's not Skylar?" Genevieve questioned. "Because I remember that day. I know what you looked like when you were a baby. You and Skylar have a birthmark in different spots," Alice explained. "Yes, we do. Did Mother bring us here a lot when we were babies?" Genevieve inquired. "Yes," Alice confirmed. "Oh," Genevieve responded. "Here's your snake," Alice said. "Thank you. I'm going to have it in my room. I have some homework to do," Genevieve said. "Sure," Alice replied. Genevieve took the picture and headed to her room.
