Finding you, part 4, chapter 16 —
At the Quartermaine mansion — Alan, Monica, AJ, Abby, Lydia, Michael, Emily, Nikolas, and Alexander were all there. "Is Skye coming?" Does AJ ask? "I think so," Alan said. "I hope so," Alexander replied. "I know that Luis is out of the hospital," Alan added. "Good," AJ said as Skye entered with the children. "Skye, you're here," Alan said. "Yes, sorry we are late," Skye said. "Where is Lorenzo?" Monica asked. "Lorenzo had to go out of town," Skye explained. "Oh, I hope it's nothing serious," Alan said. "It's not," Skye assured him. Alexander and Genevieve went to the bar. "Genevieve, let me pour you some juice," Alexander offered. "I'm not helpless, I can do it," Genevieve replied. "I know," Alexander acknowledged. "Don't you miss school?" Genevieve asked as Alexander poured the juice. "Yes, I do. We have a lot to make up, but it's good that we are smart," Alexander said. "Yes, it's good we are not the average person," Genevieve agreed. "Yes, it is," Alexander nodded. "Alexander, do you have a hard time with feelings too?" Genevieve queried. "My mother thinks I'm cold because I don't say I love you," she added. "No, I don't say it either," Alexander admitted. "Good, so I'm not a cold person," Genevieve said. "No," Alexander confirmed. Skye and Nikolas watched their children playing. "Our kids are so cute together," Skye said. "Yes, they are," Nikolas agreed. "Nikolas, I have to ask this. Does Alexander say I love you? Genevieve won't say it, and everyone says it's because she's so smart," Skye asked. "No, Alexander doesn't say it a lot, but he's a Cassadine," Nikolas explained. "Yeah, I'm just worried," Skye admitted. "Luis, I'm glad you're home," Alan said. "Thanks, Grandfather," Luis replied. Alan hugged Luis. "I love you," Alan said. "I love you too, and I'm going to get better," Luis said. "Good, if you need me, you know I'm here for you," Alan assured him. "I know," Luis responded. Alan left as Michael approached. "Michael, can you give this note to Josslyn? I'm sorry about my sister," Luis asked. "Sure, I will. I think Genevieve was just looking out for you; she loves you," Michael said. "Yes, but it's not her business," Luis responded. "Sisters do that," Michael said. "Yeah," Luis agreed. "Skye, are you okay? You look worried," Alan asked. "I'm," Skye started. "Something's going down, isn't it? Why don't you and the children stay here?" Alan suggested. "No, it's okay," Skye replied. "Alright, I love you," Alan said. "I love you too," Skye responded as they shared a hug. "Genevieve, do you want to go to the movies with me?" Alexander asked. "Sure, let me ask my mother," Genevieve said as she went to Skye. "Mother, Alexander asked me to go to the movies; can I?" Genevieve asked. "Sure," Skye agreed. "Thank you," Genevieve said as Nikolas and Alexander approached. "Should we leave now? I'll bring Genevieve home," Nikolas said. "Thank you," Skye replied as she grabbed Genevieve's coat and helped her put it on. "Genevieve, I want you to behave," Skye instructed. "Mother, why do you always say that to me?" Genevieve responded. "I only heard two words from you: 'Behave' or 'Love you.' You never say how proud you are of my grades," she added. "Genevieve, please not now," Skye urged. "I know you're worried about Daddy. I'm sure he'll be fine. If not, what happens, happens," Genevieve said. "Let's go," Nikolas announced as he took Alexander and Genevieve with him. "Skye, are you okay?" Alan asked. "Genevieve is right. I never say how proud I am of her," Skye admitted as Lila Rae, Skylar, and Luis approached. "Well, what do you want to do?" Skye asked. "I could take the children for the day if you want a break and go to your magazine," Alan suggested. "Are you sure?" Skye asked. "Yes," Alan confirmed. "Alright, I do need to go to the magazine," Skye agreed. "We will be good mothers," Luis assured her. "Yes, we will," Skye said and left.
