Finding You Part 4, Chapter 22 ~
At Lorenzo's Coffee Shop ~ Josslyn and Carly were there having hot chocolate. "So, are you glad you had no school for a week now?" Carly asked. "Yes, I'm glad," Josslyn said. "I'm going to get us some more hot chocolate," Carly said as Alexander came in. Josslyn looked at him, and then Genevieve entered, about to sit by Alexander but ended up sitting beside Josslyn. "Josslyn, I'm sorry about what I said to you at the hotel. I was just worried about my brother," Genevieve said. "I expect you to apologize. I'm sorry about your father," Josslyn replied. "Don't be. I'm sorry about what happened to your father. I googled it and read that it was my father's fault that you're dead. I believe he was a great man," Genevieve said. "He was, thank you," Josslyn said. "You're welcome," Genevieve replied as Carly approached. "What's going on?" Carly asked. "Nothing, Mrs. Corinthos. I was just telling Josslyn I'm sorry about how her father died. I know it was my father's fault," Genevieve said. "You do?" Carly asked. "Yes, I googled what happened. I was also meeting Alexander here," Genevieve said and then left. "Josslyn, are you okay?" Carly asked. "Yes, I'm fine. Alexander makes Genevieve human," Josslyn said. "He is a cute kid," Carly commented. "Yes, and a prince," Josslyn added. "Yes," Carly agreed. "Was it Genevieve's father's fault that Daddy is dead?" Josslyn asked. "Partly yes, but it was also a woman named Faith, because she kidnapped Genevieve and Skylar," Carly explained. "Oh," Josslyn said. Alexander and Genevieve's table ~ Genevieve sat down beside Alexander. "I ordered us an espresso," Alexander said. "Thank you," Genevieve replied. The man approached. "Genevieve, it's good to see you here," Jay said. "Thank you, Jay," Genevieve said as he placed the espresso down. "I hope you like espresso," Alexander said. "Yes, I do," Genevieve responded, noting she had never had one before. "So, what were you talking about with Josslyn?" Alexander asked. "I yelled at her the other day, and I want to apologize for it," Genevieve explained. "Oh," Alexander responded. Skye and Lorenzo's scene ~ Skye and Lorenzo entered; he was using his cane. "Father, we're glad you're home," Luis said, hugging his father. "Thank you, son," Lorenzo replied. "Yes, we miss you," Skylar added. "I miss you too," Lorenzo said. "Is Genevieve back yet?" Skye asked. "No, mother," Lila Rae said. "I wonder why she wants to go out with Sally," Skye mused. "I bet it's about something," Lila Rae replied. "Lila Rae," Lorenzo scolded. "You know I'm right," Lila Rae insisted. Skye and Lorenzo shared a look. Lorenzo's Coffee Shop ~ Alexander and Genevieve were talking. "So, what did you think of the book 'A Tale of Two Cities'?" Alexander asked. "I liked it. Charles Dickens's writing is wonderful," Genevieve said. "Yes, his writing is brilliant," Alexander agreed. "Yes, it is," Genevieve said. Jay approached. "Ms. Genevieve, can I get you and your friend anything?" he asked. "Yes, I would love a hot chocolate. And can you put Josslyn and her mother's bill on my father's account?" Genevieve requested. "Sure," Jay said and left, calling Lorenzo.
