Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 3
~ At The Quartermaine Hotel ~ Genevieve, Skylar, and Lila Rae were there with Jamie having lunch. "Your father wants you to have a healthy lunch," Jamie said. "Yes, Jamie," Skylar replied. They ordered lunch as Josslyn came by. "How is Luis? I heard he was sick," Josslyn asked. Genevieve got up from the table as Skye and Lorenzo entered. "How dare you ask about my brother? What is going on with Luis isn't any of your business. When my brother comes home, I hope he finally sees you for who you are! Now get out of this hotel! Go to your mother's hotel!" Genevieve yelled. "I can come to this hotel too; my brother Michael works here!" Josslyn yelled. "Yes, but I can throw you out of here if I want to! Our family is more powerful than yours!" Genevieve yelled as Skye and Lorenzo approached. "What is going on?" Skye asked. "Mother, you're out. I was just asking Josslyn to leave," Genevieve said as Carly came by. "Josslyn, there you are," Carly said. "Get out of this hotel," Genevieve said. "Excuse me, we are here to see Michael," Carly said. "You have no right to be here," Genevieve said as Michael came over. "Skye, I'm glad you're okay," Michael said. "Thank you, Michael," Skye replied. "Michael, I don't want Josslyn here," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, she is my sister. I run this hotel too," Michael said, then left with Josslyn and Carly. "Let's go see downstairs," Skye said. Skye, Lorenzo, and Genevieve sat at the table. "Genevieve, why did you do that?" Lorenzo asked. "Josslyn was acting as if she cares about Luis. I know the real reason she almost didn't go to the dance with Luis—she wants to go with Jake Morgan," Genevieve explained. "She did?" Lila Rae asked. "Yes, Emma told me," Genevieve confirmed. "How dare she," Lila Rae said. "It's nice that you're standing up for your brother, but you can't do that," Skye said. "She has no right in this hotel. They have their hotel. It's not as nice as ours," Genevieve said. "No, it's not. But Michael wants them here," Skye replied. "Mother, is it too soon to leave?" Lila Rae asked. "No, it's okay," Skye said. "After lunch, we'll go get your things at the mansion and go home," Lorenzo said. "Why can't we stay at the mansion?" Genevieve asked. "Because we have a house of our own," Lorenzo explained. "I like it at the mansion," Genevieve said. "I'm sure you do. You can have all the junk food you like," Skye added. At Michael's table, Josslyn and Carly sat together. "I'm sorry about Genevieve. She does that when she's scared," Michael said. "I heard about Luis," Carly said. "I did too, so I just said how sorry I was," Josslyn replied. "What did you hear?" Michael asked. "That Luis is sick after seeing his mother shot," Josslyn said. "Yes, it was scary for him," Michael replied. Skye approached. "Skye, what is it?" Carly asked. "I just want to say I'm sorry about my daughter and Josslyn. I think it's best if you and my son aren't friends anymore," Skye said. "I didn't mean to hurt him about the dance," Josslyn said. "I know, but my son has been through a lot in his young life—more than you'll ever know," Skye said, then left. "Mother, what does Mrs. Alcazar mean by that?" Josslyn asked, sharing a glance with Michael and Carly. "Luis was kidnapped as a baby by someone evil. Skye and Lorenzo thought he was dead," Carly explained. "Oh, that's sad," Josslyn said. "Yes, it was," Carly confirmed. "I think it's best if you don't say anything," Michael advised. "I just didn't mean to hurt him," Josslyn said. Skye and Lorenzo helped the children get ready to leave. Skye approached Genevieve and helped her with her coat. "I'm proud of you for standing up for your brother," Skye said. "I do miss him," Genevieve replied. "I know," Skye said. "Are we richer than the Josslyn family?" Genevieve asked. "Genevieve, it's rude to ask, but yes," Lorenzo said as they left.
