Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 38—
At Skye and Lorenzo's—The Next Day—Skye Was Getting Her Children Ready for the Day. "Lila Rae, you look nice," Skye said. "Thanks, Mother," Lila Rae replied, wearing a white dress with blue flowers. "I'm going to check on Genevieve. She's probably in the shower," Skye said and left.
Genevieve's Room—Genevieve was still sleeping when Skye entered. "Genevieve Rae! You need to wake up. I set your alarm last night," Skye said as she woke her. "Mother," Genevieve responded. "Why didn't you wake up when your alarm went off?" Skye asked. "I turned it off. It's Sunday," Genevieve explained. "Yes, and you need to get up. We're having the family over now. Go get in the shower, and I'll pick out your dress," Skye said. "Do I have to wear a dress?" Genevieve asked. "Yes," Skye replied. Genevieve got up and went into her bathroom, running the shower as she stepped in. "Mother!" Genevieve yelled as Skye entered the bathroom, which was a mess. "What?" Skye asked. "I ran out of shampoo," Genevieve said. "Oh, Genevieve, you should have told me before it was all gone. I'll get some from Lila Rae," Skye said. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve responded. Skye left the bathroom and went into Lila Rae's, which was very clean, unlike Genevieve's. She grabbed the shampoo and took it to Genevieve's bathroom. "Here, Genevieve. Today, you're going to clean your bathroom too," Skye said. "That's the maid's job," Genevieve said. "No, it's not. Now, hurry up," Skye responded.
At Luis's Room—Luis was trying on his new suit but struggling with his tie when Lorenzo entered. "Father, can you help me with my tie?" Luis asked. "Yes, son. You look handsome," Lorenzo said. "Thank you, Father," Luis replied. Lorenzo helped Luis with his tie. "That's my boy," Lorenzo said.
In Genevieve's Room—Genevieve came out of the bathroom wearing her robe. "Genevieve, wear this dress," Skye said. It was white with a blue flower. "Mother, why do I have to wear a dress?" Genevieve asked, as Lila Rae came in. "No, I want to wear something else. Why do I have to match my sisters?" Genevieve asked. "Because I want you all to match," Skye replied. "But we're not all the same," Genevieve said. "I know. Just for today," Skye said. "Ugh!" Genevieve yelled. "Genevieve, just get dressed. You're my co-host today," Skye told her. "Why do I have to co-host?" Genevieve asked. "Because you need to learn how to host. Since you're older, you'll be hosting parties with the family," Skye explained. "No, I won't," Genevieve said. "Just get dressed," Skye responded and left with Lila Rae. Genevieve finished getting ready, even though she didn't want to wear the dress.
