Finding You Part 4, Chapter 73 ~
At Skye/Lorenzo ~ Skye's room ~ Bobbie was helping Skye change her bandages. "Thanks, Bobbie, for everything," Skye said. "You're welcome," Bobbie replied as Robin entered. "Robin, what are you doing here?" Skye asked. "I thought I would come over to check on you," Robin said. "Good, I want to go to Lila Rae's piano recital this weekend. Can I? I went out today for the first time, and it feels great," Skye said. "I think it will be fine," Robin reassured. "Good, Lila Rae has been working too hard on it," Skye added. "I'm sure. How are you feeling?" Robin asked. "Good, I've been walking, but I don't have the energy I used to," Skye said. "That's just part of your recovery," Robin responded as Genevieve and Lorenzo entered. "What's going on?" Lorenzo asked. "I just came to check on Skye," Robin explained. "Robin said I can go out," Skye added. "Good," Lorenzo said. "How is my mother?" Genevieve asked. "Your mother is going to be fine. Skye, do you have any questions?" Robin asked. "Genevieve, go get a drink," Lorenzo instructed. Genevieve left the room. "When can Lorenzo and I have sex?" Skye asked. "That's not for a while, until the burns heal, but they will," Robin replied. "Do I always have to cover them up?" Skye asked. "Yes," Robin confirmed. "That's all," Skye said. "Okay, I'm glad you're doing well," Robin added. "Thanks," Skye responded. Robin exited. "Lorenzo, are you okay?" Skye inquired. "Yes, I brought you some lunch. I left it on the table," Lorenzo said as he went to get it. Genevieve entered with her bags. "Mother, I brought you some magazines," Genevieve said, handing them to Skye. "Thank you. Did you get your book?" Skye asked. "Yes, and Daddy brought me this one," Genevieve replied, pulling out the book and showing it to Skye. "Since when do you read science fiction?" Skye asked. "I don't, but Alexander does, and I want to read it because he likes it," Genevieve explained. "You do?" Skye asked. "Yes, isn't that what you do when you love someone?" Genevieve said. "Yes, you do," Skye agreed. Lorenzo came in with the lunch. "Here is your salad, Skye; Genevieve, a sandwich; and I have chicken," Lorenzo announced. "Thanks. So, where else did you go? You were gone for a long time," Skye said. "We had to go to the shop," Lorenzo replied. "Yes, I saw Michael there," Genevieve added. "Nice," Skye said. Lorenzo's phone rang. "Lorenzo Alcazar, Oh no, I will be there," Lorenzo said, hanging up. "What's wrong?" Skye asked. "Luis just got into a fight at school. I have to go," Lorenzo stated. "No," Skye said. "I know this isn't good," Lorenzo admitted. "Maybe it wasn't his fault," Genevieve suggested. "Maybe. I should go," Lorenzo decided. "Genevieve, do your homework after lunch," Lorenzo instructed. "I will," Genevieve replied. Lorenzo left. "I hope Daddy doesn't get too upset with Luis; he can't help it," Genevieve said. "Why do you say that?" Skye asked. "Mother, I know Luis has bipolar," Genevieve revealed. "How?" Skye asked. "I saw his pills on the table. It's not Luis's fault for his problem," Genevieve explained. "No, it's not," Skye agreed.
