Finding You Part 4, Chapter 32 -
At the Mall
Skye and Genevieve were in a store that was selling jeans. Genevieve picks them up. "Mother has done. Do they look nice?" Genevieve said. "Yes, they do. Do you want them to impress Alexander?" Skye asked. "No, Mother. I just want to look like a grown-up now that I take college classes," Genevieve said. Skye touched her face. "Don't grow up too fast," Skye said. "Can I get more than one pair and a new top?" Genevieve asked. "Alright. Who designed these jeans?" Skye asked. Genevieve looked at the tag. "Someone named Chloe Morgan. Mother isn't, great-grandmother. Her maiden name is Morgan," Genevieve said. "Yes, but it can't be," Skye said. "What?" Genevieve asked. "There was a Chloe Morgan. She was a cousin, but she was murdered," Skye said. "Oh," Genevieve said. "Why don't you go try them on?" Skye asked. Genevieve went into the dressing room, put on her new jeans and top, and came out to show Skye. "How do I look?" Genevieve asked. "You look great," Skye said. Josslyn, who was also wearing the new jeans, came by. "You don't look as good in them as I do," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, I want to say I'm sorry about kissing Alexander," Josslyn said. "I thought you liked my brother. Why are you kissing Alexander?" Genevieve asked. "I like both of them. You can do that, but I realize Alexander likes you better, and I will back off," Josslyn said. "I'm surprised you can afford these jeans," Genevieve said as Carly came by. "Skye, you'd better watch your daughter," Carly said. "You'd better watch yours too," Skye replied. "I'm sorry, Genevieve," Josslyn said. "I'm sure Alexander wouldn't like you over me," Genevieve said. "Skye, we need to talk later about Josslyn's trust fund," Carly said. "Later. I'm having a day with my daughter. Come on, Genevieve. Let's get you a couple of pairs of jeans and some new tops," Skye said. "Cool," Genevieve said. She took her mother's hand, and they went to pay, then left the store. "Mother, why are you in the changer of Josslyn's money?" Genevieve asked. "Her father Jax left me in the changer," Skye said. "You two were good friends, even though you're divorced," Genevieve asked. "Yes, how do you know that?" Skye asked. "I looked it up last night," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, I do have a past before I was married to your father and became a mother. You don't need to know all of it," Skye said. "Alright, I'm sorry," Genevieve said. "Good," Skye replied. A woman approached. "I'm doing makeovers. Would either of you like one?" she asked. "Please, Mother," Genevieve said. "Do you have makeup suitable for a 12-year-old girl?" Skye asked. "Yes, I do. I will make her look good," the woman said. "Alright. Your father is going to kill me," Skye said. "Mother, don't say that," Genevieve said. "I didn't mean it," Skye said. The woman applied makeup to Genevieve, who looked in the mirror. "Mother, how do I look?" Genevieve asked. "You look good. How much is all this makeup?" Skye asked. "Fifty dollars. It comes with a free bag," the woman said. "We'll take it," Skye said. "Thanks, Mother. I will use this bag as my purse," Genevieve said. "Let's go and meet your father for some coffee," Skye said. "Sure. Thanks, Mother," Genevieve said, kissing her mother on the cheek.
At General Hospital, Dr. Collins' room — Luis was talking to him. "So, how are you doing?" Dr. Collins asked. "I'm feeling a little better. My sister Genevieve ran away last night," Luis said. "Oh no. Is she back?" Dr. Collins asked. "Yes, she went to live with the Quartermaines, but I was worried she wouldn't come back," Luis said. 'You miss her?" Dr. Collins asked. "Yes, even though she's a pain sometimes, she's my little sister," Luis said. "Yes, I'm glad she's back. Anything else you want to talk about?" Dr. Collins asked. "No. I haven't had a bad dream in a while," Luis said. "Good. Your meds are working," Dr. Collins said. "Do I always have to take them?" Luis asked. "Yes," Dr. Collins replied.
At Lorenzo's Coffee Shop, Lorenzo was talking to a man when Skye and Genevieve entered. "Skye, Genevieve, are you wearing makeup?" Lorenzo asked. "Just a little. A woman was giving makeovers. Genevieve, why don't you go get some hot chocolate?" Skye said. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve said. "Did you get your new jeans?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, a couple of pairs and some new tops," Genevieve said, going to order hot chocolate. "Lorenzo, stay calm, but I let Genevieve buy some makeup. I helped her pick what would look good on her and not too much," Skye said. "Alright. So, you spoiled her today?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, but why not? We can spoil our children," Skye said. "Yes, we can," Lorenzo agreed.
