Finding You Part 4, Chapter 21
~ At Skye/Lorenzo ~ The Next Day ~ Skye was having breakfast with her children. "Mother, when can father come home?" Luis Jr. asks. "I don't know. I'm going to see your father after breakfast," Skye said. "Can we come?" Luis Jr. asks. "I think you should stay here today," Skye replied, glancing at Genevieve, who was hiding her phone on her lap and texting. "Genevieve, what are you doing?" Skye asks. "I dropped some eggs on my dress. I picked them up," Genevieve lied. "Oh, put your napkin on your lap. I don't want you to ruin your new dress," Skye said. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve said, placing the napkin over her phone. "Your dress is expensive," Skye remarked. "I will be careful," Genevieve replied. "Thank you," Skye said. She got up from the table, put on her coat, and as Jamie came in, she said, "I'm going to see my husband at the hospital. Make sure the children finish their breakfast, and Lila Rae still can't watch TV." "Yes, Mrs. Alcazar," Jamie responded. "Tell Father I love him," Luis said. "I will. Behave, all of you," Skye replied and left. Sally came in. "I need to run to the store," Sally said. Genevieve quickly got up and put her phone behind her. "Sally, can I go with you?" Genevieve asked. "Why?" Sally asked. "I just want to get out of the house for a bit," Genevieve replied. "Are you up to something?" Skylar asked. "No, I'm not," Genevieve said. "Let me call your mother," Sally said, calling Skye as Genevieve quickly hid her phone in her purse to keep it out of sight. Skye was on the docks, heading to the hospital when her phone rang. "Skye Alcazar," she answered. "Mrs. Alcazar, I need to go to the store, and Genevieve wants to come with me. Is that okay?" Sally asked. "Sure, that's fine. Just make sure she wears her winter gloves," Skye replied. "Yes," Sally said, hanging up the phone. At General Hospital, in Lorenzo's room, Lorenzo was awake when Alan came in. "Did you shoot my daughter?" Alan asked. "No, I didn't. I shot Faith. She shot me before I could," Lorenzo replied. "I wish Patrick didn't save your life—for my daughter's sake, and for my grandchildren—it's better that none of you are involved," Alan said as Skye entered. "Daddy," Skye said. "It's true. You thought Luis was dead, and now he has bipolar disorder. Genevieve and Skylar were kidnapped as babies, Jax died, and Genevieve was poisoned," Alan said. "The reason the twins and Jax are dead is because of Faith. My husband didn't do it," Skye said. "Faith wants to get even with Lorenzo. Skye, please do the right thing and leave him," Alan urged. "I can't," Skye replied. Alan left. "Skye, are you okay?" Lorenzo asked. "I missed you last night," Skye said. "I miss you too," Lorenzo replied. "It was hard to sleep without you in our bed. I made Genevieve sleep with me," Skye said. "Really? How was it?" Lorenzo asked. "Good. She opened up to me a little about Alexander," Skye said. "Good," Lorenzo responded as Patrick entered. "I have some news—you're free to go," Patrick said. "Thank you," Skye replied.
