Finding You Part 4, Chapter 39 —
At Skye/Lorenzo — Genevieve was all dressed for the party, walking into the hallway past her parents' bedroom. She saw Lorenzo's jacket from yesterday hanging on a chair and looked at the pocket, noticing her cell phone. She went inside just as Lorenzo came out of his bathroom. "Genevieve, what are you doing here?" Lorenzo asked, as Genevieve looked at the jacket. "I just wanted to say good morning to you, Daddy," Genevieve said. "Really? You're not here to try to get your cell phone?" Lorenzo replied. "No," Genevieve said. "We should go downstairs; the guests will be here soon," Lorenzo said. "Why do we have to have the family over?" Genevieve asked. "Because your mother wants this. Just try to be nice today," Lorenzo replied. "I will. Can I have my cell phone back?" Genevieve asked. "Genevieve, not now. It's family time, and you'll get it back when I say so," Lorenzo responded, putting on his jacket from the chair. "Yes, Daddy," Genevieve replied. Lorenzo took her hand. "Let's go," he said, and they went downstairs.

Skye was downstairs, making sure everything was perfect while Lila Rae, Skylar, and Luis sat on the couch. Lorenzo and Genevieve came downstairs. "Genevieve, you're ready. Good. Now, when everyone gets here, you're to ask if they need anything," Skye said. "What is everyone else going to do?" Genevieve asked. "Everyone else will be talking to the guests, but it's your job to make sure they need anything," Skye explained. "Fine," Genevieve said. "It's just for an hour," Skye added. Alan, Monica, AJ, Lydia, Constanza, Abby, and Ned arrived. "Thank you for coming," Skye said, holding Genevieve's hand.

"Grandfather," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, are you glad to be home?" Alan asked. "Yes, but I do miss the mansion," Genevieve replied. "I'm sure you do. You can always come over," Alan said as Luis approached. "Hello, Luis," Alan greeted. "Hello, Grandfather. Do you like my new suit?" Luis Jr. asked. "Yes, you look handsome," Alan answered. "Thanks, I want to be like my father," Luis Jr. said. "Great," Alan replied, glancing at Lorenzo.

"Genevieve, I need you to help with the food," Skye said. Genevieve went into the kitchen with her. "Mother, is there a dessert?" Genevieve asked. "No, there isn't," Skye replied. "Mother, the guests will want something sweet," Genevieve insisted. "Or is it you?" Skye asked. They took the tray of food and returned to the party.

"So, my grandson wants to be like you," Alan said. "Luis just looks up to me, like a son does," Lorenzo replied. "I hope so. I hope Luis doesn't take over your work when he's older," Alan said as Skye approached. "Dad, please, not now," Skye said. "Are you going to see your mother?" Alan asked. "I don't know," Skye replied as Genevieve approached.

"Grandfather, I have a question for you," Genevieve said. "Sure, what is it?" Alan asked. "Mother says we had a cousin named Chloe Morgan," Genevieve asked. "Yes, we did. Why?" Alan replied. "There's a new designer who makes these amazing jeans I have. I was wondering if it's her. I know Mother says she's gone, but could it be her?" Genevieve asked. "No, sweetheart, it's not her," Alan said. "Oh," Genevieve replied. "Are you sure the designer's name is Chloe Morgan?" AJ asked. "Yes," Genevieve said. "It can't be," Ned said. "I'm sorry if I made everyone sad," Genevieve said. "It's okay," Alan said. "Why don't we sit down for breakfast?" Skye suggested. "Yes, does everyone have a drink?" Genevieve asked, feeling uncomfortable hosting the party. "Yes, we do," Monica said. "Mother didn't have the cook make us dessert," Genevieve added. "It's okay," AJ responded. "Constanza, how's your dog?" Genevieve asked. "Great, I love taking care of Tea," Constanza said. "Where is Daniella?" Genevieve asked. "She had some work to do," Constanza replied.

"Monica, can you pass the fruit?" Alan asked. "Are you sure you want me to give it to you?" Monica asked. "Yes," Alan said. Monica picked up a spoon and threw it at Alan. "There you go," Monica said.

"What's going on?" Skye asked. "Skye, I'm sorry, but I can't do this today," Monica said and went into the hallway, with Skye following. "Monica, what's going on?" Skye asked. "Your father cheated on me," Monica said, as AJ approached. "With whom?" AJ asked. "Rae," Monica replied. "I'm sorry about my mother," Skye said. "It's not your fault. We've gotten past that, but I can't let this go," Monica said. "Are you going to divorce?" AJ asked. "I don't know," Monica answered and left. "This isn't good," Skye said. "No, it isn't," AJ agreed.

Back inside, "Genevieve, do you have a picture of this Chloe Morgan?" Ned asked. "Yes," Genevieve said, pulling out a magazine with her ad in it. "See?" she added. "It's not Chloe," Ned said. "Did she have children?" Genevieve asked. "Not that I know of, but she sure isn't using Chloe's name," Ned replied. "No," Genevieve said. "Thank you," Ned said. "You're welcome," Genevieve replied, as Skye and AJ returned.

"Dad, Mother had to go back to the hospital," AJ said. "She told you, didn't she?" Alan asked. "Yes, why?" AJ replied. "We were both missing Faith," Alan said. "I'm sorry," Skye said. "I need to go," Alan said. "Bye, Grandfather," Genevieve said. "Bye, Genevieve. You did a great job hosting with your mother, Skylar, Lila Rae, and Luis and everyone. I love you all," Alan said. "We love you too," Lila Rae added. Alan left.
