Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 74
- At the All Boys' School
Lorenzo entered the office to find his son waiting to see the principal and Morgan. "Luis, what is going on?" Lorenzo asked as Carly entered. "Morgan," Carly said as the principal arrived. "Good, you're both here. Let's go into my office," the principal said. Lorenzo, Luis, Morgan, and Carly went into the office and sat down. "What did my son do?" Carly asked. "Morgan and Luis got into a fight," the principal said. "Who started it?" Carly asked. "Boys, tell us what happened," the principal said. "I told Luis Jr. I didn't want him or Josslyn here anymore because he doesn't belong," Morgan explained. "Morgan," Carly said. "I'm looking out for my sister," Morgan added. "Where does my son belong?" Lorenzo asked, looking at Morgan who stayed silent. "Morgan told me I belong in a mental hospital, so I hit him," Luis Jr. said. "Morgan," Carly said. "Who threw the first punch?" Lorenzo asked. "I did, and I would do it again!" Luis Jr. yelled. "Luis, it's okay, calm down," Lorenzo said. "Are both kids suspended?" Carly asked. "Yes, Morgan more than Luis Jr., but We won't allow fighting in this school. Morgan, we will not tolerate you starting fights. Luis Jr. has a right to be here; his grades are better than yours," the principal replied. "I'm sorry," Morgan said. "I have the boys' homework from all their teachers in this folder," the principal said. "Thank you. How long?" Lorenzo asked. "The rest of the week for Luis Jr. and two weeks for Morgan," the principal answered. "Luis, I'm sorry," Morgan said. "Stay away from my son. Can we go?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes," the principal replied. Lorenzo and Luis left. "I'm sorry," Morgan said. "Morgan, I understand you want to protect your sister, but you shouldn't have said Luis belongs in a mental hospital. Why would you say that anyway?" Carly asked. "I know Skye and Lorenzo didn't know much about him," Morgan explained. "Yes, it's not Luis's fault he was taken from his parents," Carly said. "Yes, Mother," Morgan agreed.
In Skye and Lorenzo's sunroom, Skye was on the bed, and Genevieve sat while Skye gently brushed her hair without resistance. "Do you know what the one good thing about this accident was?" Skye asked. "No," Genevieve replied. "That we can spend time together. You have been so nice lately; I love it," Skye said. "I was worried," Genevieve admitted. "I know, baby, we all were," Skye replied.
Lorenzo and Luis entered. "Genevieve, I need to talk to your mother alone," Lorenzo said. "Yes, Daddy. Luis Jr., are you okay?" Genevieve asked. "I will be," Luis Jr. reassured her. Genevieve left, listening at the door to her parents and brother. "Luis Jr., what happened today at school?" Skye asked. "Morgan said I belong in a mental hospital more than school, so I hit him," Luis Jr. said. "Oh, baby. Come and sit on the bed," Skye coaxed. Luis sat down. "You don't belong in a mental hospital; you belong right here," Skye said, pulling her son into her arms. "Yes, Mother," Luis Jr. replied. "Don't listen to Morgan," Skye assured him. "Your mother is right, son. We love you," Lorenzo added. "I'm in trouble," Luis Jr. asked. "Let me talk to your mother," Lorenzo said. Luis Jr. then went to the hallway and saw Genevieve by the door.
"Luis, don't listen to Morgan. I'm glad you're my brother, and you belong with us," Genevieve said. "Thanks, Sis," Luis Jr. replied.
In Skye's room, Lorenzo said, "It's not Luis's fault; it's that boy Morgan," "I know, but Luis needs to control his anger before it gets out of hand," Lorenzo said. "I agree. Maybe he should see Dr. Collins," Skye suggested. "Yes. Skye, there's something I need to tell you. I found out who did this to you," Lorenzo said, taking Skye's hand. "Who?" Skye asked. "Faith. She's alive and well, married to Tomas. But tonight, I'm going to take care of them," Lorenzo promised. "I hope so," Skye said. "This time, Faith will not come back, I promise you," Lorenzo assured her. "Just came back to me," Skye said. "I will," Lorenzo replied. "So, what about Luis?" Skye asked. "I think he should help Genevieve with the cleaning," Lorenzo suggested. "Alright," Skye agreed. Lorenzo then opened the door, seeing Luis Jr. and Genevieve talking. "Luis, your mother and I understand why you hit Morgan, but it was still not right. Today, you'll help your sister with the cleaning, and we think you should talk to Dr. Collins about the fight," Lorenzo instructed. "Yes, father," Luis Jr. replied. "Come with me, Luis. We need to dust the sunroom upstairs," Genevieve said. "Yes, Genevieve. Father, I'm not sorry I stood up for myself," Luis Jr. responded. "I do want you and your sisters to stand up for yourselves, but use your words," Lorenzo advised. "Yes, father," Luis Jr. said. Genevieve and Luis went upstairs. Lorenzo poured himself a drink, asking, "How much can I take?"
