Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 26 —
At Skye/Lorenzo — Skye and Lorenzo sat on the couch reading the newspaper when Genevieve stormed in and threw her purse. "Genevieve, why are you home so early? What's wrong?" Skye asked. "Alexander Cassadine is a jerk! He kisses her!" Genevieve yelled. "Who did he kiss?" Lorenzo asked. "Josslyn Jack, that tramp! She's just like her mother!" Genevieve yelled. "Genevieve!" Skye yelled. "What? I heard you call Carly that before!" Genevieve yelled. "Yes, I am sure I didn't call her that," Skye said. "Do you want to talk about this?" Skye asked. "No," Genevieve said and went upstairs. "This isn't good," Skye said. "Maybe it is. Maybe Alexander Cassadine will be out of her daughter's life," Lorenzo said. "I'm going to check on her," Skye said.
In Genevieve's room, she was standing by her bookshelves, making sure her books were perfect; that's the only thing she keeps clean in her room. Skye came in. "Genevieve, you know it's okay if you want to cry," Skye said. "I'm not going to. No man is worth crying over," Genevieve replied. "Alexander isn't a man; he's a boy," Skye said. "Well, it's the same thing," Genevieve said. "Genevieve," Skye said. "Why did he kiss her if he likes me?" Genevieve asked. "I don't know. Do you know who kisses who? Did you talk to Alexander?" Skye asked. "No, I just left before he could lie to me," Genevieve said. "Why don't you give him a chance to explain?" Skye asked. "Why, sure I will," Genevieve replied. "It's fair that he has a chance," Skye said. Genevieve's phone buzzed, and she opened it—it was a text from Alexander.
Downstairs, Lorenzo poured himself a drink as Alexander entered. "Alexander, why are you here?" Lorenzo asked. "I need to talk to your daughter. I want to tell her what happened," Alexander said. "I don't think so, Cassadine. You hurt my daughter, and no one hurts her. I think it's best if you both break up," Lorenzo said.
In Genevieve's room, Skye asked, "Genevieve, what was that text about?" "Alexander is coming over to talk," Genevieve said. "Well, let's go downstairs," Skye said. "Do I look okay?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, you look fine," Skye replied. She took Genevieve's hand, and they went downstairs where only Lorenzo was present. "Daddy, where is Alexander? He texted me that he was coming over," Genevieve said. "Yes, he was here," Lorenzo replied. "Where is he?" Genevieve asked. "I sent him away," Lorenzo said. "Why did you do that? I want to hear what happened! You had no right!" Genevieve yelled. "Genevieve, it's best if you and Alexander stop seeing each other," Lorenzo said. "Why?" Genevieve asked. "You're both too young for a boyfriend and girlfriend, and he kisses someone else," Lorenzo explained. "That is up to me! You had no right to do that!" Genevieve yelled. "Yes, I did. As your father, it's my job to protect you," Lorenzo stated. "I'm safe with Alexander. He's a prince, not a mob boss!" Genevieve yelled. "Genevieve, calm down before you say something else," Skye said. "No! I wish you were dead when you were shot at! I'm going to see Alexander; you can't stop me!" Genevieve yelled and went upstairs. "Lorenzo, why did you do that?" Skye asked. "I was taking care of our daughter, and I did the right thing. I need you to back me up," Lorenzo answered.
