The Bookstore ~ Lorenzo and Genevieve were there. She had her book and was now picking out a magazine for Skye. "Well, a mother like this magazine," Genevieve asked. "Yes, she would," Lorenzo replied. "How much money do you have?" Lorenzo asked. "Only $25.00," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, that's sweet of you to buy them for your mother," Lorenzo said. "Thanks," Genevieve replied. They went past a table, and Genevieve saw a book she wanted and picked it up. "Do you want that too?" Lorenzo asked. "Next time," Genevieve replied. "I will get it for you if you promise never to cheat again," Lorenzo said. "I won't, Daddy. I have to learn not to do that again," Genevieve replied. "Good," Lorenzo said as Kate came over. "Kate Howard," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, I have to thank you for telling my secret. Soon, I may lose my company to your family because of you," Kate said. "It's not my daughter's fault that you got caught putting Chloe's name on your jeans. Stay away from my daughter," Lorenzo said. "Or what?" Kate challenged. "You know what," Lorenzo replied. "Daddy, let's go check out," Genevieve said. "Yes," Lorenzo agreed. They moved to the checkout line as Lorenzo's phone rang. "Lorenzo Alcazar, I will be right there," Lorenzo said and hung up. "After this, I need to check on my shop," Lorenzo added. "Alright, thanks for standing up for me with Kate," Genevieve said. "You're my daughter. I will always stand up for you," Lorenzo assured her. They paid for the books and magazine.
At The Quartermaine ~ Alexis was there talking to Ned. "I believe we will win this case. Are you sure about taking Kate's company?" Alexis asked. "Yes, I know, and I want it," Ned replied. "Alright," Alexis said as her phone rang, and she answered it. "Lorenzo, what do you want? Yes, it's fine with me," Alexis said and hung up. "What did Lorenzo want?" Ned asked. "Genevieve wants to watch me in court tomorrow," Alexis replied. "Oh, is she?" Ned asked. "Yes, AJ is going to bring her," Alexis said. "Good," Ned replied. Tracy then entered. "Alexis, you better win this case tomorrow," Tracy said. "I will win," Alexis replied. "Do we know who Kate's lawyer is?" Tracy asked. "No, we don't," Ned said. "I'm sure it's someone who isn't very good," Alexis added. "We just have to win," Tracy emphasized. "We will," Ned assured.
At Kate's office ~ Kate was working when someone came in. "Good, you're here. We need to go over things for tomorrow," Kate said. "Yes, we do," the man responded. "You better win this case," Kate said. "Oh, I will," the man assured.
