Finding You Part 4, Chapter 66: "Our Love"
The Sunroom—Skye was in bed when Lorenzo entered.
"Did you give Luis his pills?" Skye asked.
"Yes, I did," Lorenzo replied.
"Good, I'm tired and want to go to bed early," Skye said.
"Alright," Lorenzo answered.
"Lorenzo, you can't sleep in this room again. I know you didn't sleep well last night," Skye said.
"I don't care. I love you, Skye, and we always slept in the same room when we've been married. I'm going to sleep on the couch," Lorenzo said.
"Lorenzo, I love you and appreciate that you're taking care of me, but you need to take care of yourself too," Skye replied.
Bobbie knocked on the door, and Lorenzo opened it.
"Bobbie," Lorenzo greeted.
"I need to change Skye's bandage," Bobbie said.
"I want to do it," Lorenzo insisted.
"Lorenzo, I don't want you to see my skin like this," Skye said.
"Skye, I love you no matter what. It will not change," Lorenzo reassured.
"Alright, you can watch. Let Bobbie do it; she knows what she's doing," Skye agreed.
"Okay," Lorenzo said.
Bobbie changed Skye's bandage while Lorenzo watched.
"Bobbie, I would like to go out to Lila Rae's piano recital on Saturday. I want to go, can I?" Skye asked.
"I think you could go out. Maybe try tomorrow and see how you feel," Bobbie suggested.
"Do you think Robin would be okay with it?" Lorenzo asked.
"I will call her tonight, but yes, I do," Bobbie replied.
"Good, I want to get out of here. I need to check on my magazine," Skye said.
"I would try small trips first," Bobbie advised.
"Thanks," Skye said.
Bobbie finished changing the bandage.
"Thank you," Skye said.
"You're welcome. I'm going to rest," Bobbie replied and left.
"So, Lorenzo, do you still love me?" Skye asked, then leaned in for a kiss.
"What does that tell you?" Lorenzo asked.
"Oh, Lorenzo, I miss you," Skye said.
"I miss you too, but we will get through this just like always," Lorenzo said.
"Yes," Skye agreed.
"Tomorrow, why don't we go to the coffee shop and see how it goes?" Lorenzo suggested.
"Sure. We can take Genevieve," Skye replied.
"Skye, we can't back down from her punishment," Lorenzo said.
"I know, I just want to give her a break, that's all. Then she can still clean," Skye explained.
"Alright, let's go to bed," Lorenzo said.
"Lorenzo, you can climb into bed with me," Skye offered.
"Are you sure?" Lorenzo asked.
"Lorenzo, if I ever don't want you in my bed, then divorce me," Skye said.
Lorenzo took off his shirt and climbed into bed with Skye.
"Can I hold you?" Lorenzo asked.
"Yes," Skye replied.
Lorenzo held Skye.
"I love being in your arms," Skye said.
"I love having you in my arms," Lorenzo said, kissing Skye goodnight.
