Finding You Part 4, Chapter 63—
At Skye/Lorenzo—Skye was in bed in the sunroom when Lorenzo came in. "Skye, do you need anything?" Lorenzo asked. "No," Skye replied. Lorenzo sat down beside her. "Lorenzo, are you okay?" Skye asked. "Yes, I'm fine," Lorenzo said. "You look tired," Skye observed. "A little, but I will be fine, and soon you will be," Lorenzo responded. He took Skye's hand and kissed it. "I hope so," Skye said.
Genevieve was in the living room, dusting; her hair was a mess when Tracy entered. "Genevieve, what are you doing?" Tracy asked, shocked by her appearance. "I have to help the maids clean the house," Genevieve answered. "Come and tell me why," Tracy urged. Genevieve stopped dusting and moved to talk to Tracy. "What is it, Aunt Tracy?" Genevieve asked. "Why are you cleaning? That's the maids' job," Tracy said. "I got in trouble at school," Genevieve admitted. "What did you do?" Tracy asked. "I got caught cheating on a math test," Genevieve replied. "How did you cheat?" Tracy asked. "Alexander Cassadine helped me; he gave me a paper with the answers, and I copied it," Genevieve explained. "Are you mad at me, Aunt Tracy?" she added. "No, but you're a Quartermaine; you sure know how to cheat," Tracy said. "Yeah," Genevieve agreed. "So you have to help the maids clean," Tracy instructed. "Yes, I've been cleaning all day," Genevieve confirmed. "Well, I'm going to fix this. Where are your parents?" Tracy asked. "In the sunroom," Genevieve said. Tracy left.
In the sunroom—Skye was in bed, and Lorenzo sat beside her, holding her hand. "Do you think we're doing the right thing by Genevieve?" Skye asked. "No way in hell are you?" Tracy said as she entered. "Tracy, what are you talking about?" Skye asked. "I came to check on you, and I'm glad I did. I heard what Genevieve did. Yes, it was wrong, but she's a Quartermaine; we cheat, and she definitely shouldn't be cleaning—that's a maid's job. If you let this go, she's going to turn into one, and she'll hate you for it," Tracy explained. "You have no right to judge us about our parenting skills. You didn't raise Dillon," Skye retorted. "I know this is a hard punishment," Tracy admitted. "How dare you come in here and judge us!" Lorenzo shouted. "Genevieve tried to cheat. It's not the worst thing she's ever done," Tracy said as she entered with Genevieve. Her hair was messy, and her dress was disheveled; Tracy pulled her into her arms. "Look at this child! Look what you did to her! Just take her phone away or the TV—let that be enough," Tracy urged. "Thanks, Aunt Tracy, but I can fight my own battles," Genevieve said. "We are Quartermaines; we fight and stand by each other. Skye, you are a Quartermaine, and you know I'm right," Tracy added. Lorenzo stood up and walked past Tracy. "Let me show you the door," Lorenzo said. "Daddy," Genevieve called out. "It's okay, Genevieve," Lorenzo reassured her. "Yes, it is. Genevieve, don't forget you're an heiress," Tracy reminded. "I will not. Thanks for trying, Aunt Tracy," Genevieve said. "You're welcome," Tracy responded and left with Lorenzo.
"Genevieve, why do you like Tracy?" Skye asked. "She is a strong woman and a businesswoman. Mother, I don't understand why you two don't like each other. She's like you—strong," Genevieve explained. "I'm still a strong businesswoman," Skye said. "Yeah," Genevieve agreed. "Is this hard, you cleaning?" Skye inquired. "I don't like it," Genevieve admitted as Lorenzo entered. "You're not supposed to like it," Lorenzo said. "Yeah, can I go upstairs and shower?" Genevieve asked. "Yes," Lorenzo replied. "Genevieve, next time don't wear your dress while you clean," Skye advised. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve responded. She left the room. "Skye," Lorenzo called. "What if Tracy is right?" Skye wondered. "She's not. We promise we won't spoil our children too much to think they can get away with anything," Lorenzo assured. "I just don't want Genevieve to think we don't love her," Skye expressed. "She won't," Lorenzo vowed.
