Finding You, Part 4, Chapter 40—
At Skye/Lorenzo—Everyone left. "Mother, did I do a good job hosting?" Genevieve asked. "You did a good job; we still need to work on it," Skye said. "Why do I have to do it again?" Genevieve asked. "Because," Skye replied. "Is this to work on my social skills?" Genevieve asked. Skye touched her chin. "I guess I can't pass anything by you. Yes," Skye said. "I don't need to work on them. Let Lila Rae host the next one; she'll be good at it," Genevieve said. "She will too. Now, I'm going to take Skylar to get art supplies, and you can get some shampoo—please clean your bathroom," Skye said. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve replied. "Skye, do you want to talk?" Lorenzo asked as Genevieve, Lila Rae, and Luis went upstairs, and Skylar went to get her coat. "Alan and Rae slept together," Skye said. "Oh," Lorenzo responded. "I guess they were sad about Faith dying that they just need each other," Skye said. "Are you upset by it?" Lorenzo asked. "I just don't know how I feel about all this," Skye replied as Skylar came over. "Skylar, come on," Skye said as they left.
Genevieve's room—Genevieve was cleaning the bathroom. She still thought the maid should do it, but Lorenzo came in. "Daddy, why can't the maids do it? Isn't that why you pay them?" Genevieve asked. "It's your responsibility to clean your room now. Hurry up; we are going somewhere," Lorenzo said. "Where?" Genevieve asked. "To a surprise," Lorenzo replied. "Yes, Daddy," Genevieve said, finishing cleaning her bathroom.
At the Quartermaine hotel—Monica was having a drink when Bobbie came in. "Monica, are you okay? You look like you need to talk," Bobbie said. "I do. Alan slept with Rae," Monica said. "Oh no, I'm sorry," Bobbie said. "I thought this time Alan and I would finally be happy and get it right, but I was wrong," Monica added. "Was there a reason?" Bobbie asked. "Rae and Alan were both sad about Faith. I get being upset about losing a child, but they didn't even know Faith that well," Monica explained. "True. Can you get past it?" Bobbie asked. "I don't know," Monica answered.
At Skye/Lorenzo—Lorenzo was downstairs with Luis and Lila Rae. "When Genevieve finishes cleaning her bathroom, we are going somewhere," Lorenzo said as Genevieve came in. "I'm all done," Genevieve said. "Good, now get your coat," Lorenzo replied. "Where are we going?" Luis asked. "Yes, sure. We'll wait for Skylar," Genevieve asked. "I wish we could, but we can't," Lorenzo said. "Skylar will be okay; she forgives," Genevieve said. "Yes, she is," Lila Rae confirmed. "Yes, your sister is forgiven. Let's go," Lorenzo said, and they left.
At the art store—Skye was there with Skylar. "Mother, are you okay?" Skylar asked. "Yes, sweetheart, I'm fine," Skye said. "How much money can I spend?" Skylar asked. "Get whatever you need, honey. I want to support your hobby," Skye said. "Thanks, Mother," Skylar said.
At the park—Lorenzo arrived with the children. "Dad, what's going on?" Luis asked. "You can get that dog you want," Lorenzo said. "Really?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, but it's everyone's responsibility to take care of the dog, and Genevieve, it's your job to make sure everyone does it," Lorenzo replied. "I will, thank you, Daddy," Genevieve said. "You're welcome," Lorenzo responded. "What about Mother?" Lila Rae asked. "I'll take care of your mother," Lorenzo assured her. The lady came in with the dog. "Do you only have one dog?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes," the lady replied. "Well, you can share," Lorenzo said. "Yes, he needs a cute name," Luis suggested. "How about Brown Penny?" Genevieve asked. "Genevieve, that's sweet, but he needs a new name. You all need to agree on a name now. Let's go get some food and toys for him," Lorenzo suggested. "Alright, I hope Mother likes him too," Genevieve said. "She will," Lorenzo said. "I don't know," Lila Rae said. They left.
