Finding You Part 4, Chapter 42 ~
At Skye/Lorenzo ~ Skye helps Genevieve set out drinks and snacks. "Thanks, Mother," Genevieve says. "You're welcome. Don't blow this with Alexander," Skye says. "What do you mean by that?" Genevieve asks. "Don't let him kiss you, or it will be the last time your father lets him come over," Skye says. "Why can't we kiss?" Genevieve asks. "You're too young for that," Skye says. "How old were you when you kissed a boy?" Genevieve asks. "You don't need to know that," Skye says as Luis, Skylar, and Lila Rae enter. "Alexander is coming over to meet Charlie," Genevieve says. "You can only have him for ten minutes; I need to walk him then," Luis says. "Alright, we can talk about other stuff," Genevieve says. The doorbell rings. "Mother, can I open it?" Genevieve asks. "Yes," Skye says. Genevieve goes to open the door, and it's Alexander with flowers in his hand. "Alexander, come in," Genevieve says. "Thank you. You look nice. These flowers are for you," Alexander says as he offers them. "They're beautiful. Come meet our new dog," Genevieve says, holding the dog, and they go into the sunroom together. "This is Charlie," Genevieve says. "After Charlie Dickinson?" Alexander asks. "Yes," Genevieve says. "Very smart to name him that," Alexander says. "Thank you. Would you like something to drink? All we have is lemonade," Genevieve says. "Thank you," Alexander says. Luis comes in. "Sorry, but I have to take the dog out," Luis says. "Alright, be a good boy," Genevieve says. "I will," Luis says. "I was talking to the dog," Genevieve explains. "Oh," Luis responds. He takes the dog and leaves for a walk with Lorenzo. "How's your brother doing?" Alexander asks. "Good. My parents haven't said anything, but I know he's bipolar," Genevieve replies. "That's sad," Alexander says. "Yes, but anyway, how are you?" Genevieve asks. "Good. I'm sorry about Josslyn. I don't like her, and she kisses me," Alexander admits. "I let it go," Genevieve says. Alexander pulls Genevieve onto the couch and kisses her. "Genevieve," Alexander says, stopping the kiss. "I like it. Kiss me again," Genevieve says.
