Finding You Part 4, Chapter 54 —
At Lorenzo's Coffee Shop — Lorenzo was there with the children, who were drinking hot chocolate, while he was having coffee. "Do you have any questions about your mother's recovery?" Lorenzo asked. "Is mother's skin ruined?" Lila Rae asked. "No, the skin will heal," Lorenzo replied. "Good," Lila Rae said. "Did you hire a nurse for Mother?" Genevieve asked. "I'm working on it, and I will make sure it's the best one," Lorenzo responded. "What about Bobbie Spencer, Morgan's grandmother? She is a great nurse," Lila Rae suggested. "Maybe," Lorenzo said as Carly entered the shop, and Lorenzo looked at her. "I will be right back. Does anyone need anything?" Lorenzo asked. "I'm hungry," Luis Jr. said. "Me too," Genevieve agreed. "Alright, I will get you some food," Lorenzo said and then stood up to see Carly. "Lorenzo, how are things?" Carly asked. "Good. Skye is going to recover at home," Lorenzo said. "That's good. Are you going to hire a nurse?" Carly asked. "Yes," Lorenzo replied. "You should hire my mother; she'll give Skye the best care," Carly suggested. "Why do you care about my wife?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, in the past, Skye and I didn't get along, but Skye is also a mother and needs to recover for her children, that's all," Carly explained. "Tracy thinks you want me," Lorenzo said. "No, I'm not in love with you," Carly replied. "Good, I love my wife," Lorenzo said. "I know, and I'm happy for you and Skye," Carly responded. "You sure will find someone," Lorenzo said. "I may," Carly added. Genevieve approached. "Daddy, we're hungry," Genevieve said. "Alright, go pick out anything you want," Lorenzo told her. "Come with us," Genevieve suggested. "Genevieve, you can order your own food," Lorenzo said. "It's okay, I have to go anyway," Carly said. "Good," Genevieve said. Carly left. "Genevieve, you were very rude," Lorenzo said. "I don't care, I don't like her," Genevieve retorted. "Genevieve, Carly and I are just friends," Lorenzo explained. "I know you used to be married to her," Genevieve said. "You have nothing to worry about. I love your mother, and stop googling us or I will take your computer away," Lorenzo warned. "I'm sorry, Daddy, I just—" Genevieve started. "I know you're worried about Skye, but it will be alright," Lorenzo reassured her. "Okay," Genevieve said. "Now let's get some food," Lorenzo suggested.
At General Hospital — Skye was sleeping when AJ entered. "I'm glad you're okay," AJ said as Skye woke up. "Sorry to wake you," AJ added. "It's okay. So, what's going on? Anything new? I need something to get my mind off things," Skye said. "Alright. You know those jeans you bought for Genevieve?" AJ asked. "Yes, she had to have them. She's never been one for shopping. Why?" Skye asked. "Well, it wasn't Chloe who made them; it was Kate. She put them under Chloe's name, and now Alexis is going to help us sue her," AJ explained. "Wow, I can't believe Kate went that low," Skye said. "I know. Ned is hoping to get her company," AJ said. "Who would run it?" Skye asked just as Ned entered. "You," Ned said. "You want me to run Kate's company?" Skye asked. "Why not? You'd be great at it, and you will get better," Ned replied. "I have a lot of the magazine and Jax's company—he left it to me until Josslyn gets older. I can't do it all and take care of my children," Skye explained. "Just think about it," Ned encouraged her. "I will. I can't believe Kate did this," Skye responded. "Me neither, but we will win," Ned assured her. "Thanks, Ned. I think Tracy's up to something," Skye said. "She is?" Ned asked. "Yes, she told me that Alan wants her to watch over me and the children, but I can't trust her," Skye said. "I'll talk to her," Ned promised. "Thanks," Skye said. "Don't worry about my mother. Just focus on your recovery," Ned urged. "I will—for my children and Lorenzo," Skye said. "Yes, we need you, sis," AJ added. Skye was tired. "Let's go and let you rest," AJ suggested. "Alright," Skye agreed. "We'll be back later," Ned said as AJ and Ned left.
In the hallway — "So, what's going on? Why is Tracy watching out for Skye and her children besides her promise to Alan?" Ned asked. "All I know is Tracy saw Carly hit on Lorenzo," AJ replied. "Wow, how low," Ned commented. "I know. I told Carly to back off," AJ said. "If Lorenzo loves Skye, then we don't have to worry about Carly," Ned said. "Yes, but it's the last thing my sister needs—to worry about Carly," AJ added. "I agree," Ned said.
