Finding You Part 4 Chapter 45~
At Skye/Lorenzo~Skye came back in after taking the children to school. She looked at the dog in his crate. "Alright, I will let you out. Just don't mess in my house," Skye said. She unlocked the crate and let the dog out, keen to look at him. "What is with you, huh? How did you get my Genevieve to say I love you? Why does she open up to you? I'm glad she thinks I'm the best mother," Skye said as Alan came in. "Skye," Alan said. Skye turned around and saw Alan. "Dad, I didn't see you," Skye said. "It's okay. So, you got a dog?" Alan asked. "I had no choice. Lorenzo took the children to get one," Skye said. "You're not crazy about it?" Alan asked. "No, I'm not. But he might be a good thing. Today, I overheard Genevieve telling him that I'm the best mother in the world and that she loves him. Why does Genevieve tell him how she feels but not us?" Skye asked. "I don't know. Maybe it's easier with a dog; no one can hurt her," Alan said. "I guess," Skye replied. "I'm glad she thinks you're a good mother," Alan said. "Me too. I want to be a good mother," Skye said. "You are. We need to talk about yours," Alan said. "What about?" Skye asked. "Rae called me; she wants me to visit her, and I was wondering if you want to come with me," Alan said. "I don't know," Skye said, picking up a blanket and folding it. "You can't avoid her," Alan said. "I know," Skye replied. Lorenzo came in. "What is going on?" Lorenzo asked. "Nothing. We were just talking," Skye said. "Skye, I will be at the mansion. I'm leaving in an hour if you want to come with me. Just think about all the time she has been there for you," Alan said and left. "What is going on?" Lorenzo asked. "Alan wants me to visit Rae," Skye said. "Go. I would go with you, but I think it's best if I don't," Lorenzo said. "I don't want to," Skye said. "Skye, please fix things. I feel guilty because of this," Lorenzo said. "What about the children? Luis has an appointment today with Dr. Collins," Skye said. "I can handle it, and Jaime can help me," Lorenzo replied. "Alright, I will go," Skye said. "Good," Lorenzo responded. "I'm beginning to think getting the dog was a good idea. Genevieve opened up to him today," Skye said. "Really?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes. She told him that I'm the best mother in the world and that she loves him. I think this dog is a good thing," Skye said, petting the dog. "I think so too," Lorenzo agreed, and Skye kissed him. "Skye, it'll be okay," Lorenzo said. "Alright," Skye replied and left.
